Keroncong music has not been abandoned by the youth. On the campus of UB, as many as 21 students from various universities around East Java were busy to hum this keroncong.

They were not amateurs. Andra L, a student from Universitas  Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) with melodic sang langgam and stambul keroncong. He along with 20 student singers had to compete in the Art-Stalk Festival Keroncong Contest Inter-university Students of State/Private Universities around East Java on Wednesday (7/12).
