Cemeteries Riverside & Mount Hope

Rochester is Gifted with Two Outstanding Cemeteries

Planning for final arrangements, whether it’s cemetery burial, a mausoleum crypt or cremation is a profoundly important decision. It is the place or fashion in which others will remember, honor and dignify yours or your loved one’s life. We hope the following information will be helpful in making your cemetery pre-planning arrangements.

Planning in advance is a gift of love. Having a memorial site selected and paid for eliminates having surviving loved ones be concerned with what is available, what the deceased would have wanted and how much should be spent. Knowing that cemetery arrangements are established and paid for, according to your wishes, provides everyone with peace of mind.

Each cemetery contains priceless pieces of art, rare

horticultural specimens and breathtaking geological formations–all of which will enhance visits, preserve a legacy or help visitors simply enjoy a quiet day. Both are where Rochesterians from all walks of life have been laid to rest since1838.
