CEMENT STORAGE SILO
INTRODUCTIONThe Storage silo of the production of
engineering company "SUPERMIX" is intended
to receive cement from cement trucks, store it,
and convey it through the screw conveyor to
the place of the ready mix preparation. They
are used in the expanded production ofconcrete products.
The sensor of low and upper level is installed
to control the cement level; the silos are also
equipped with Vent filters of series SVF with
blowing system of filtered elements remotely
or locally operated. The Vent filter is set up
on the upper silosplatform and served to clean
the dusty air passing from silo during the
cement charging.
The cement feeding into silo is made through
the pneumatic cement tube; the
electromagnetic vibrators are installed in the
low (cone) part of the silo to provide the
continuous material supply.
The cement discharge from silo is made by
screw conveyor.
The support pedestal, tank and other parts of
silos are made from qualitative steel and
covered with protective corrosion proof
coating. It makes it possible to work in any
climatic conditions and guarantee its longoperating life. The
silostank is made from steel
of 4-6 mm of thickness.
