CELL OF THE MONTH
The winning image of this month’s Nature Cell Biology and Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology ‘Cell of the Month’competition was submitted by Jaap Nijsse (Wageningen University, Wageningen, The Netherlands ([email protected])). It shows a plant hair cell (trichome) on a leaf of Arabidopsis thaliana.
The image was obtained using cryo-fixation techniques and a field-emission scanning electron microscope (JEOL 6300F).Bar, 100 µm.
