social gatherings all over the world.• Many cultures use fireworks and other forms of
noise . Some of the cities most well-known for their celebrations include Edinburgh, Sydney, Toronto, Moscow, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, and New York City.

ST PATRICK’S DAY• IT IS CELEBRATED ON 17st MARCH.• The day is the national holiday of
Ireland. It is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland and a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland. In the rest of Canada, Great Britain, Australia, the United States and New Zealand, it is widely celebrated but is not an official holiday.
• Saint Patrick's Day is a Christian festival celebrated in the Catholic Church, the Church of Ireland .
• People wear green and orange clothes.
• Shamrocks are seen everywhere.
• A lot of cities in Ireland and North America hold several parades and festivals on this day. Among them we can mention Dublin, Cork, Limerick, New York City, Montreal, London, San Francisco, Vancouver…
