united in marriage on July 3, 2010, at Cedar ValleyArboretum and Botanic Gardens, Waterloo, by EvaCameron.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Paul and Angie Klus, ofMason City. Seth’s parents are Rand and Myrna Pitkin,of Rockford.

Maid of honor was Jessica (Deverell) Ward, friend ofthe bride. Bridesmaids were Erika Klus and AlexandraKlus, sisters of the bride.

Best man was Shane Pitkin, brother of the groom.Groomsmen were Sean Pitkin and Shamus Pitkin,brothers of the groom.

Following the ceremony, dinner, drinks and dancingwere held in the Sky Ballroom at the historic Black’sBuilding, Waterloo, where the couple met. Guests of thewedding were treated to the annual Fourth of Julydowntown fireworks, which took place during thereception.

Elizabeth graduated from Mason City High Schooland the University of Northern Iowa. She is studyingmassage therapy and somatic healing at Elements ofWellness School of Massage, St. Louis, Mo.

Seth graduated from Charles City High School andIowa State University. He manages the digital and non-traditional revenue sales teams at KMOV Television, St.Louis, Mo.

The couple honeymooned in Bora Bora, Tahiti.They are residing in St. Louis, Mo.

dent of the Month” for Jan-uary. She is the daughter ofEd and Laura Henrich.

Henrich has achievedplacement on the highhonor roll and is a memberof National Honor Society.She is also an active mem-ber of the band and playedsaxophone in the pit band,pep band, jazz band, andconcert band. She has alsoparticipated in yearly solocontests every April, receiv-ing a Division I rating lastyear, and two Division IIratings, the previous years.

Henrich has been amember of the varsity crosscountry team throughouthigh school. She was a four-time all conference letterwinner and received theIron Woman Award herfreshman year.

She is a member of St.Joseph’s Catholic Church,where she helps with thechildren’s liturgy duringMass, and serves as aEucharistic minister. Shewas selected as a member ofthe initial leadership teamhelping to organize a stu-dent lead Kairos retreat pro-gram at Newman CatholicHigh School.

Last summer Henrichtook a service trip alongwith several other Newmanstudents, to Kentucky. Sheplans to participate in a ser-vice trip this summer inKansas City.

This fall she plans toattend either Wartburg Col-lege, Waverly, or Loras Col-lege, Dubuque, and is con-sidering pursuing a career inelementary education andplaying in the band.

She has participated inthe band as a percussionist,is in the Varsity Show Choirand traveled to Spain thispast summer with thechoir, performed in thesummer musical, and is amember of the Classic BookClub. She has also been amember of the cross coun-try team for three years,and will have played soccerall four years in high school.

In addition, Kammerervolunteers at the HumaneSociety of North Iowa, andenjoys astronomy, singing,reading and writing.

She plans to pursue acareer as an astrophysicistand writer at either Colum-bia University, PrincetonUniversity, the Universityof Minnesota, or Iowa StateUniversity.
