Wednesday: Foundation

Thursday: Architecture PG + Theatre and Performance+6:30pm / Seven “П” words: the short architectural vocabulary /

Friday: Architecture UG + 3D+5:00pm / Project Red fashion show /

Public presentations by Raw Edges, Glithero and Gareth Neal. These three world-renowned design studios, all based in the capital, work with the most prestigious manufacturers, galleries, clients and institutions around the world. Each has a highly idiosyncratic approach to the broad nature of the design and making process, which in turn reflects the positive effect of cosmopolitan London as a breeding ground for imagination.

There are several words, or categories, an architect uses more often in discussing architecture. At some point I realized that most important words in my personal architectural vocabulary start with Russian letter П (P). In this lecture I will talk of the meaning in my life and practice of just seven words from my “П” dictionary, such as Public, Memory, Simplicity, Poetry, Details, Product and Enlightenment.

As a finale to Celebration week the first year BA Fashion Students will show PROJECT RED, a live catwalk show in the Atrium of the Goulston Street building. It features work from the first year students on The Cass BA (Hons) Fashion degree, follwed by a drinks reception with staff and students.
