Life Reflections

Larry Dawkins Larry Dawkins affectionately known as “Pawn Dawkins” age 67 of 26 Main Street, Stamford Connecticut., peacefully transitioned at his residence. He was the son of the late Corbett Dawkins and Linell Byers Dawkins. Larry was a kindhearted person to all, and he was always ready to give a helping hand when needed. Larry brightened the room with his smile and his funny jokes. Larry loved to sit around with his family and friends to tell stories about growing up. Larry loved his family, friends, and people in general. He was a source of love, peace, joy and inspiration for those he worked for and met. He was a dedicated employee at Deluxe Cleaners in Stamford, Connecti-cut. He joined The House of Prayer for All People in 1988 and served as a male usher. Larry is preceded in death by his father Corbett Dawkins, mother; Linell Byers Dawkins, sister; Mary Dawkins, grandsons; Jamarcus Dawkins and Clinton Howell. He leaves to cherish fond memories, four daughters, Cynthia Dawkins of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ronchetta Dawkins of Gaffney, South Carolina, Vanessa Dawkins Davis (Denisha Davis) of Gaffney, South Carolina, Teresa McCullen of Stamford, Connecti-cut, two sisters; Unell Dawkins, Denise Good (Darrell Good) both of Gaffney, South Carolina, four brothers; Harold Dawkins of Augusta, Georgia, Donnie Dawkins of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Carl Dawkins of Gaffney, South Carolina, Lathern Dawkins of Trenton, New Jersey, one aunt; Florida Rice Maes of Woodruff, South Carolina., one uncle; Sidney Rae Byers of Gaffney, South Carolina, eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, his former wife, Alice Dawkins Adams of Gaffney, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
