Celebrating Success

This year all our pupils have been working hard to achieve their personalised targets. Their successes are a result of the hard work and dedication of all the staff and pupils. We are very proud of all our pupils because they work so hard to achieve their goals. Take a look at some of

their amazing achievements.

Congratulations to all our leavers for successfully obtaining places at local colleges. Our FE Leavers’ Ball was a great success. Senior Red, FE1 and FE2 enjoyed the ball.

A special congratulation goes to all our year 14 students who successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Well done to all our pupils for developing their independent skills. Here is one of our pupils learning to take off and put on his jumper. Well done.

Congratulations to our pupils on

Our Tag Rugby team made us proud when they received medals for coming second place in the Wooden Spoon Tag Rugby Tournament.

Thank you to all our pupils, staff and many visitors who made our Music, Art, Drama and Dance week a great success. A wonderful time was had by all.

We were delighted when our year 11 students completed their first work experience placements.

Over the year our pupils have learnt many new skills. Here are some of our pupils making excellent progress in mathematics, communication and independent skills.

In recognition of our outstanding Special Educational Needs and Disability practice, school was designated as a National Support School by the National College for Teaching and Leadership. This is a significant achievement for school and celebrates the wonderful work that takes place across our special school.

The highest level of International School Award (2015-18) for “Outstanding development of international dimension in the curriculum.” This award reflects the exciting curriculum offered to every child in school.

A Music Mark for the schools commitment to excellent music education which forms part of the creative learning opportunities offered to all our pupils.
