DESCRIPTIONThe Pre-War Team Challenge sees the best pre-war machinery pitted on track in a format that helps balance the variety of performance across the age-range. The series covers everything from Austin Sevens to the mighty Bentleys plus, of course, all the Pre-War Astons. The Team Challenge is run as a ‘staggered start’ or ‘open’ handicap. This means each car is released in turn, at pre-determined intervals with the slowest cars going off first and the fastest cars starting last of all.

DESCRIPTION“Equipe”GTS races are for historic production sports cars with engine capacity of under 2.7 litres, including MGAs, MGBs, Triumph TR3 and 4, Morgan 4/4 and Plus-4, Standard and “Special-bodied” Sprites and Midgets, Sabre 6, TVR Grantura, Elva Courier, AC Ace and Alfa Romeo among many others. Most cars run to period E to F “FIA” specification or to an acceptable period- modified specification to be approved by the eligbility scrutineer and on controlled historic-style tyres.

TECH TALKDESCRIPTIONThe annual St.John Horsfall Memorial Trophy race commemorates St.John Horsfall’s story, war time exploits and racing history.
Today’s St John Horsfall Memorial Trophy race sees a grid of Pre-War Aston Martins battle it out for the 2013 honours. The race is run as a normal scratch race, but a handicap is applied to the results to ensure every car has an equal chance of winning the Trophy.

The ‘50s Sports Cars will feature 30 minute races at each round of the 2013 AMOC Racing meetings, and once again in 2013, the Jaguar Enthusiast Club’s ‘XK Challenge’ will be running with the ‘50s Sports Cars at each meeting.

DESCRIPTIONThe GT4 Challenge is a unique opportunity for drivers of all abilities to compete in the latest Aston Martin race cars. Competitors race head-to-head in Aston Martin Vantage GT4s with 445 bhp engines, paddle-shift transmissions and the aero kit with front splitter and carbon rear wing. The cars are powerful and easy to drive with a 50:50 weight balance and driver aids such as race developed ABS and traction control.

DESCRIPTIONThe race, open to all categories of Aston Martin Racing cars from the last decade and some classics, will take place over 100 minutes, in celebration of Aston Martin’s centenary year and will be the highlight of what promises to be an historic weekend. The race is open to all owners and drivers of Aston Martin Racing built GT cars homologated in GT1, GTE, GT2, GT3 or GT4.

The ‘50s Sports Cars will feature 30 minute races at each round of the 2013 AMOC Racing meetings, and once again in 2013, the Jaguar Enthusiast Club’s ‘XK Challenge’ will be running with the ‘50s Sports Cars at each meeting.
