Celebrating 10 years of Service to School Nutrition Professionals

Your Resource for School Program Excellence!
Training tailored for your staff USDA compliance Food safety certification Principles of HACCP plans Menu analysis Financial and program analysis Interim program management
Welcome to the 2016 School Nutrition Associ-ation of Pennsylvania Annual Conference in the sweetest place on earth, Hershey Pennsylvania ... Chocolatetown USA!
This year our Annual Conference promises to de-liver an exciting, action packed agenda with something for everyone!
When I think about the Olympics, I have memories of Mark Spitz breaking the Olympic record with seven gold medals in 1972. I think of Mary Lou Retton winning the individual all-around gymnast gold in 1984. And finally, I think of Jesse Owens, a four-time 1936 Olympic gold medalist in track. Woops! I think I may be showing my age! Regardless, each of these athletes has their own story about the challenges that helped get them to top of their game.
By attending this year’s Annual Conference, you’ve committed yourself to train with the best, go the distance and be the best at your game! You’ll receive the best of the best in training that will help you and your program overcome challenges to win the Gold Medal in School Nutrition.
Our talented, informative, and renowned speakers will motivate and inspire you to be an invincible force in your school district as well as help your program become Hall of Fame worthy! You will learn about the latest in reauthorization from USDA’s top of the class and former school food service director, Dr. Katie Wilson. Finally, we will have a gold medal finish with our own state director’s “state of the Food and Nutrition” address as well as stress relief by Tami West.
I would like to thank the 2016 Annual Conference Committee for their tireless work on the jam-packed agenda and “The Biggest & Best Food & Equipment Show on Earth”. Your work is greatly appreci-ated by the entire SNAPa Board and our eager to learn and growing membership.
Have a great Annual Conference ... learn, grow and eat some choco-late ... it’s good for the heart and soul!
Welcome from Pam GallagherSNAPa’s 2016 ~ 2017 President
