Celebrate National Library Week, April 9 - 15 with an Art Extravaganza!
Springdale Public Library joins other libraries across America in celebrating National Library Week. First sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) in 1958, National Library Week raises awareness and
highlights the value of libraries in our communities. It is also a time to highlight the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. The Springdale Public Library offers engaging programming that supports early literacy, databases for education and personal use, makerspace programs for children, teens and adults, book clubs, and downloadable materials. Many other valuable services and digital resources can also be accessed in person or online.
Join us in celebrating National Library Week with an Art Extravaganza Program. Come and share your artistic expression of appreciation for your Library. Artwork will be displayed on the Children’s Department Bulletin Board throughout this week. This program is free and registration is not required!
