WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF MIX DESIGN?

To find a combination of constituents that would give concrete of properties complyingwith certain specifications, economically .

Characteristics of the concrete those satisfy the needs are the properties at fresh and hardened statesThese properties are selected depending on the application and expected performance.
