▪Volleyball is a team sportin which two teams of sixplayers are separated by anet. Each team tries toscore points by groundinga ball on the other team'scourt under organizedrules

THE SERVE

▪ Server must serve from behind theend line (dark green/blue) until aftercontact.

▪ Ball may be served underhand oroverhand.

▪ Ball must be clearly visible toopponents before serve.

SCORING

▪ A point is scored when the ball contacts the floor within the court boundaries or when an error is made

▪ Game will be played to 25 points.

▪ Must win by 2 points.

▪ Matches are best-of-five sets and the fifth set, if necessary, is usually played to 15 points.

ROTATION

▪Team will rotate each time they win the serve.

▪Players shall rotate in a clockwise manner.

▪There shall be 6 players on each side

PLAYING THE GAME

▪ Maximum of three (3) hits perside.

▪ Player may not hit the ball twicein succession (a block is notconsidered a hit).

▪ Ball may be played off the netduring a volley and on serve.

▪ A ball touching a boundary lineis good.
