EVAC Conference for CEIA STAFF

On September 29, 30 and October 1, CEIA staff attended the EVAC conference in Maturin. I am so very proud and delighted that CEIA Staff got to attend EVAC! We are very fortunate to have a Board that supports our professional growth. September was EVAC and November will be VANAS. How very fortunate we are! We all must continue to listen and learn throughout our careers. No matter if you are just beginning your teaching career or drawing it to a close soon, the need for rejuvenation is always present. The joy of life long-learning can come from listening to a dynamic speaker. It can also come from attending a great workshop. This gift enables you to return to your teaching with restored enthusiasm. These professional gatherings are not only great opportunities to learn from experts, but also present a time

for networking with your colleagues away from your own school.

Thank you CEIA Board for supporting our professional growth!

After School Activities

After School Activities (ASA) are providing a wonderful source of hands on learning for our CEIA students. In our Recycling Arts and Crafts ASA, students are learning to “reuse, renew and recycle” objects that may be looked at trash. This month the students with Ms Ann and Ms Gisela went outside to gather various natural items and “trash” and turned it all in to beautiful pieces of artwork. Thank you for helping to save our planet!

Last, but not least, they finished the month with a Students vs Teachers Volleyball Match where they sold a variety of food and refreshments to guests and partici-pants. We also want to invite you to follow our Instagram account @ceiastuco so you are informed with all our school activities.
