There is no scrap wood in my shop, just
pieces I haven't used yet. In these stuff
times of social distancing and isolation;
it's nice to have a shop full of power tools
and wood. I just bought some rough sawn
oak and walnut from Kevin in
Gilbertville. Steve Crouse and Dave
Turner our helping me slice it into thinner
sheets. Thanks guys for your help. That's
the nice thing about our organization;
helping and working with each other,
making friends and laughing together.
Sharing our woodworking with each other
is so much better than doing it alone.
The following is a note I put with
all my woodworking gifts. It can be
modified if it's something I sold. Feel free
to use it.
When you are given something from me,
a woodworker; you're receiving more
than an object.
You're getting hundreds of hours of errors
and experimentation.
You're getting years of frustration and
moments of pure joy.
You're not getting just one thing. You're
getting a piece of my heart,
a small piece of my life.
(signed)
If nailing it won't work, then screw it.
Milo
