歯科の各診療科，部での「evidence-based dentistry」の実施のために，口腔疾患に特有の検査（う蝕活動性検査，根管内細菌嫌気培養検査と抗生剤感受性試験，歯周病原性菌血清抗体価検査，口腔内金属の元素分析，咬合力測定）と病理組織学的診断を行っている。また，口腔乾燥症や味覚異常の検査・治療，院外からの委託検査にも応じている。

The center provides the objective data for the implementation of evidence-based dentistry. We perform oralclinical examinations including caries risk tests, antibiotic sensitivity tests using anaerobic incubation of rootcanal bacteria, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays for serum antibodies against periodontal microorganisms,elemental analysis of dental restorations and bite force measurement, as well as histopathological examinations.We also offer treatments for dry mouth and dysgeusia, and accept examination requests from outside the hospital.
