The new proposition called Bronze Plus will see CEC working with Halo Assist as part of a strategic partnership to deliver claims support across all market sectors. Earlier this year CEC launched its tiered range of claims assistance products for Brokers. Starting at its most affordable level with Bronze, the service provides claims assistance to brokers and 100% of clients. Rising through the stages to the top level of service, Platinum delivers unlimited hands on loss adjusting support for policyholders. The new CEC product - Bronze Plus extends the product range even further to include motor claims assistance for all clients, including commercial and personal lines, whether the broker has sold the motor policy or not. Scott Robinson, Head of Marketing, Client Relationships and Development at CEC, said: “We are very excited by this new product. By combining loss adjuster expertise on general sector claims, with specialists Halo Assist from the motor claims world we have developed something very different for our broking partners. This means that brokers can provide a complete claims service to all clients and for all eventualities. We are continuing to change the claims assistance market with the aim of providing support as widely as possible. During market research in 2016, brokers reported that the traditional products from other providers only offered limited support. This chimed with previous FCA comments about policyholders being left to manage their own claims submissions. CEC is responding to the market needs by creating innovative products which assist everyone”.
