CeBIT 2010: NovaStor Announces TimeTraveler

Agoura Hills, CA, February 26, 2010 -- At CeBIT 2010 in Hannover, Germany from March 2 to 6, 2010, NovaStor (www.novastor.com), a pioneer in data protection, will present a new, innovative restore feature called TimeTraveler.
TiemTraveler Simplifies and Speeds the Restore TimeTraveler dramatically speedsup and simplifies the restore process by providing a single set of files for anypointintime. From one view, users can see all of the relevant backup files and select which they wish to restore, regardless of which local device or onlinelocation the files were backed up to.
TimeTraveler takes the guesswork out of the Restore process TimeTraveler is an easy to use slider that makes a typical restore process much simpler and faster.By moving the slider, users can easily choose a pointintime to which they wantto restore. Once the pointintime has been selected, TimeTraveler will find the correct set of files and the correct backup device for each file automatically

TimeTraveler enables users to- Go back in time to recover any file you have previously backed up.- Bring data back to the way it was before a virus attack.- Select files from a single view, which shows the latest version of each file,regardless of where it was backed up.- Restore from multiple devices automatically in a single session.- Use a drive letter manager that recognizes each device, even if the drive letter has changed. “Using several storage devices to back up data has become common, even among home users. However, when people need their data back, many users have a hard time
remembering which device they backed up to and which backup is the one they want. TimeTraveler solves this problem in a very convenient manner. TimeTraveler will debut in NovaStor’s SMB solutions, starting with version 11.1.This new version is scheduled for launch at CeBIT 2010.
