I’m keen on cars, so that helps. I’ve worked in motor fleet insurance ever since my career in broking started.

I’ve worked for different brokers, both large and small. What particularly appeals to me about Concordia de Keizer is the short lines of communication. A lot of the decisions can be taken independently and getting approval from elsewhere in the organisation generally only involves one step. This allows us to act quickly and provide excellent service.

Many businesses, organisations and fleet owners have insured their fleet with us. Their fleets include all types of registered motor vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, lease and rental vehicles, motorbikes and taxis. Concordia de Keizer also provides related insurances, for these vehicles, such as legal expenses and driver and passenger accident insurance.

The added value of our service is most evident in our claims process; we manage the entire process for our clients. We work exclusively with reputable insurers whose credit ratings and quality are assessed annually. Offering larger volumes gives us a strong position to negotiate with insurers. With annual contracts being the standard in this segment of the industry, we’re able to renegotiate renewals each year, aiming for the best possible results. “Helping our clients reduce costs”Our main focus in Health & Income is to achieve claims reduction. Many employers end up with unnecessary costs because they lack awareness and information.

Clients have to continue paying an employee’s salary for the first two years of their illness, but the Employee Insurance Agency (UVW) often impose sanctions because of incomplete files.

Employees who enter the Work and Income Labour Capacity Act (WIA) two years later may cost an average of 100 to 150 thousand euros over a ten-year period. Clients can insure this, but is that the right solution? That is why we start by looking at the quality of the existing files. We can save clients a lot of money by correcting these files. Things can go wrong at each step of the process, which means possible costs that can be saved. Before we even start talking about whether or not to insure, we first address and solve the core problem. We support employers and assist them with advice and practical information. The experts at our helpdesk are available every working day to answer questions.

I’ve been working in the insurance industry for 30 years, the last ten of which exclusively in Health & Income. You see employers who end up having to pay for years of employees’ occupational disability without realising that this could have been prevented.
