European Credit Transfer System Credits are earned for each module passed. CCT HETAC Certificate programme modules are weighted proportionate to the amount of knowledge, skills and competencies covered and acquired within the module. Most of the modules on the CCT HETAC Certificate programme carry 5 ECTS credits. At least one module per semester carries 10 ECTS credits.
The following table describes the classifications available for major awards (made by HETAC or by recognised institutions under delegated authority) in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). They also specify the required boundary values for grade point average (GPA) and percentage point average (PPA). The Pass mark for the Percentage Grading System for HETAC programmes at CCT is: 40%.
