Daniel Goldstein - Senior

Daniel has been a “lifer” at Charlotte Christian and a part of the wrestling program since 8th grade.  He was given the Determination Award by the coaching staff after last season, a n d w a s a 2 0 1 1 C o n f e re n c e Champion and recognized as an All-State wrestler as well based on his placing in the state tournament.  He is looking forward to competing for a state title again this year.  Daniel (or, Goldy as he is known) has accepted the role of leader this year, a mantle which began over the summer and has progressed throughout the year i n h i s e n c o u r a g e m e n t a n d instruction of the youth on our varsity and middle school teams.  Goldy will graduate this year in the top 10% of his class with numerous academic awards, and intends to begin his pursuit in the field of engineering next year. Daniel has been invited to be part of the NC State University Scholars Program as well as apply to the NC State University Honors Program. The CCS coaches would like to thank Daniel for his dedication to the wrestling program and wish him success as he takes the next step in God’s plan for his life.
