The Center or Church Financial Management (CCFM) was created in response

to aith-based entities need to train leaders, sta and volunteers in the areas o

Leadership, Financial, and Administrative Management. The Center oers individan opportunity to sharpen skills and/or acquire new skills to enhance their abilitie

be eective leaders in a aith-based environment.

The program is an interdenominational continuing education component o the

Samuel D. Proctor, School o Theology, at Virginia Union University, Richmond,

VA. As such, the program is designed to meet the standards and requirements o

continuing education credits as established by their accrediting boards.

While The Center uses the educational acilities o Mount Lebanon Church, The

Center does not teach rom any specic denominational perspectives. The Cent

is sensitive to various denominational hierarchical governance structures and

    incorporates them where applicable.

The Center oers both a structured plan o study leading to certication in a

particular discipline or the ability to take individual classes to meet your current

    specic needs.

All classes are held in the new state o the art educational acilities o Mount

Lebanon, Chesapeake, VA. All computer classes are held in a computer lab where

participants will each have a computer or hands-on computer learning while the

    instructor is teaching.

The Center receives numerous calls daily rom pastors, churches, and other aith

based non-prots seeking recommendations on individuals to ll nancial and

administrative roles. Thereore, The Center is committed to maintaining a databo individuals who become certied to reer to the inquiring entity. This is a win-

win situation. The pastor, church, or other aith-based non-prot know that the

individual reerred to them is capable o perorming the job; and the individual is

connected to the job they would not otherwise know about.

Got an opening or such a person? The Center will search their database o

certied candidates to assist in nding such a person. Give us a call @ 757-547-33

or visit us on the web @ www.themountleads.organd click on The Center link.
