1. Details of all the subjects pertaining to a class should be recorded in the same register.

2. Subject teachers should record the subject-wise progress of the children.

3. Class teacher should record the details in the Cumulative Record as per the progress.

4. While recording Formative Assessment, numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 indicate the assessment tools. They are (1) Children’sparticipation/ responses (Reading library books speaking about them or writing the report in Telugu/ Hindi/English/ Urdu; new problems in Mathematics; Speaking or writing about experiments/ field observations orSocial issues in EVS. (2) Written works [answering the questions/ exercises of the lessons given in textbooks.](3) Project work. (4) Slip test. Hence, marks and grades achieved by the student should be recorded tool-wise.For tools 1, 2, 3, the assessment should be done for 10 marks and reduced to 5 marks. For the 4th tool,assessment should be done for 20 marks and reduced to 5 marks. Grade should be recorded accordingly.

5. The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Summative Assessment indicate the Academic Standards of the subjectconcerned. Hence, marks scored by the students should be recorded under Academic Standards. AcademicStandard-wise marks and grades should be recorded in CCE Register for classes VI to VIII. For classes IX and X,marks and grades should be recorded on the whole instead of recording under Academic Standards.

6. In Cumulative Record/ CCE Register ‘M’ means marks and ‘G’ means grade. So, marks achieved by children in academicstandards and tools should be recorded in the boxes against ‘M-marks’ and grades in the boxes against ‘G’.

7. Progress under co-curricular subjects should be recorded separately under SA (i.e. in another page). In co-curricularaspects, marks and grades should be recorded only for five competencies instead of six as given in the format.

8. Annual grade should be calculated based on the average of four Formative Assessments (20%), and the marksachieved by the students in second Summative Assessment (80%). There is no need to record SummativeAssessment-II and annual result for class X.

9. Marks and grades should be recorded in Annual Progress Register. A copy of this should be sent to MEO/Dy.EO concerned.

10. The class teacher should fill the information related to the class he/ she is responsible for in the AnnualProgress Register and hand it over to the Headmaster. The Headmaster should observe whether the teacherhas filled the annual result correctly or not.

11. The Headmaster and the class teacher concerned should sign at the annual results of all the classes.
