SCHOLARSHIPS We offer two full-tuition scholarships to the top seniors in all school districts in Beaver County, as well as athletic scholarships, CCBC Foundation scholarships, and more. For more information and applications, visit ccbc.edu/scholarships. DO YOU NEED TO TAKE THE PLACEMENT TEST? You do not need to take the test if any of the following apply: 1. You attended another college and earned a C or higher in Math and/or English 2. Took the ACT or SAT in the past 5 years and had the following scores in all 3 areas or take that part of the Placement Test only: ACT Reading 19 English 18 Math 22 OR SAT Reading 450 Writing 450 Math 450 3. While in high school, you earned a “B” in all English courses or earned a “C” in Pre-Calculus. Remember to submit transcripts and/or test scores in order to be exempt from the placement test. If none of the above apply to you, you do need to schedule the placement test. Schedule Accuplacer Placement Test by emailing [email protected] or calling 724-480-3425. The College grants general admission to anyone who wishes to begin college studies, however; there are certain majors that have special admissions requirements that must be met prior to the College granting a student acceptance into the program.
