The buyer and seller agree the split of the Capital Allowances and it dealt with through the election
process with the form S198 and S199.
The time limit for making the election is two years after the time when the Commercial property is
acquired by the buyer.
A copy of the election should be included when a transfer of the ownership for the Commercial property
takes place.
