Healing Hearts MinistryGospel-centered, grace-driven personal ministry for those who are wounded.Jesus warned that we would have struggles in this life. Sometimes we are the agent of our own struggles, yet sometimes we suffer because of the decisions of others. Whatever the case, Healing Hearts Bible Studies provide a clear Biblical path to find healing from life's hurts. Our leaders have come to the ministry through the healing of our own hurts; so, you can walk with someone who understands, has walked the hard road, and has been trained to come alongside and personally minister to you. Groups are limited to 4 ladies.

The Hem of His Garment Study This study is for those who long to find true healing from past wounds. Abuse, rape, catastrophic loss, relational issues; all of these leave us with wounds that affect our everyday lives. They can leave us crippled emotionally. Weekly homework reveals God’s truth of how to walk in victory in the present, despite our past. 10-week study.

Binding Up the Broken HeartedThis study is an in-depth journey of healing from the pain of abortion. Are you tired of feeling hurt, guilt, shame, depression, anger, self-hatred, and the fear that others will find out? It's time to find hope, healing, and freedom in the Word of God! Weekly homework reveals God’s plan for healing and forgiveness. All our leaders have walked this road personally: chosen abortion and found healing in Christ. We understand! 11-week study.

Moms In Christ Moms In Christ meets the first Monday evening of the month for fellowship, food and a teaching from God’s word that seeks to instruct, encourage and exhort moms of all ages and seasons.  Each month new speakers address topics that relate to motherhood and training our children with this year’s focus being who I am in Christ and how that identity should influence our roles as mothers, wives and women who love the Lord.  All moms are welcome and there is no attendance requirement. While we do not offer childcare, nursing and young babies are welcome.

TWM Entree of Encouragement1 Corinthians First Corinthians addresses reports that Paul received from Chloe’s household, as well as a letter he received from the church itself. Paul covers several different issues related to both life and doctrine, along with a profound teaching on the resurrection. Corinth was a large, international metropolis, filled with people from different backgrounds and religions. Paul directs believers to live out their commitment to Christ ever more faithfully in the midst of such challenges in and out of the church walls. He expects Christians will shine their lights into the dark places of the world. Spiritual gifts and other practical topics will be discussed. No cost for study and no homework. Women of all ages welcome to attend.

Delighting in the LordDelighting in A Life of Triumph: The Life of JosephWhat does it look like to live a life of triumph….and is it even possible? Broken relationships, despairing situations, and unrealized dreams — sometimes life gets complicated and confusing as people and circumstances let us down. All the while, the enemy of our souls is right there whispering lies of defeat; telling us we’ve been abandoned by God and our situation is hopeless. How our hearts long for the triumphant life; a life that triumphs over circumstances, emotions, and relationships. Is it even possible?

The life of Joseph shows us that it is! Esteemed and highly favored by Jacob, his father, Joseph is envied and betrayed by his brothers who devise a plan to get rid of him. With God-given dreams of prosperity and position in his heart, Joseph travels through deep valleys of slavery, imprisonment, and accusations at the hands of others. Yet, Joseph’s life speaks of a life full of triumph where circumstances don’t define him but, rather, God’s love does. Joseph’s faith takes him to mountaintops where God sovereignly uses his life to save the very ones who sought evil against him, and to preserve the entire Jewish nation for the future birth of Jesus, the Messiah.

Join us in this nine-week verse-by-verse study through Genesis 37-50 as we dig into the details of Joseph’s life. Come with us as we go from Canaan to Egypt and then back to the Promise Land.

During the Winter/Spring semester we will be studying the first 15 chapters in Proverbs: Delighting in Godly Wisdom.

The Delighting in the Lord Bible Study Series allows participants to work through each chapter of study by answering inductive, deductive and personal application questions. Study questions take about an hour to complete. There is a live teaching each week taught by Stacy Davis, Marie Gay, Brenda Harris or Hedy Negron. If you are unable to make a week of

study the teaching can be found at the CCCS website under women’s ministry. 

Format: Small group discussion from 9:30-10:30AM followed by worship and live teaching in sanctuary. Discussion groups meet with a facilitator in classrooms. Small groups have about 10-15 women in each group.

Kids in Christ Children’s MinistryAge appropriate Biblical instruction, worship and craft time for infants through Kindergarten offered during Delighting in the Lord Bible study. This is a free ministry that serves the Delighting in the Lord moms. Delighting in the Lord registration is required for the moms and a separate registration required for each child enrolled.

Youth and Teens in Christ – Education Enrichment MinistryChristian Education Enrichment classes are being offered this year as part of the Delighting in the Lord ministry. Classes offered for those in 1st through 12th grade. Youth in Christ will have two groups (grades 1-3 and 4-6), and Teens in Christ is for 7-12th grades. Youth curriculum will cover a Bible lesson, missionary of the week and related enrichment activities. Teen curriculum will cover an inductive Bible study and public speaking instruction. Workbook purchase is necessary for the teens. Full description of classes is available on the info counter. Delighting in the Lord registration is required for the moms and a separate registration required for each child enrolled.

Bible BusOne Year Through the Bible"The Bible Bus” is simply a daily Bible reading plan for women. Beginning in January women commit to spending 15 minutes reading their Bibles each day with selected readings from the Tyndale One Year Bible. We meet monthly on the first Saturday of the month from 10am-noon to discuss the readings as well as have brunch, fellowship and prayer. There are also several email communications each month for inspiration and motivation. The remaining dates for 2018 are Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 3, Dec. 8. January 5, 2019 will begin the new session. Please join us for a wonderful time of fellowship.

To register, please fill out the Women In Christ Registration Card enclosed in this brochure or found on the Women’s Ministry info counter outside the sanctuary. It is preferable you pay for your study at the time of registration. All monies should be placed in the Women’s Ministry specified envelope and placed either in the offering box with registration card and money or the drop box outside the church office.

You can also register and pay at the church office window Monday through Friday between 9AM-4PM. Checks should be made payable to CCCS and write the name of the study in the memo line. No credit cards are accepted at this time.

All studies are also listed on the church website under Women’s Ministry. Go to www.cc-chestersprings.com. There is no online registration, but the registration cards and KIC cards are online and can be printed and mailed to: CCCS, Attn: Women’s Ministry, PO Box 595, Eagle, PA 19480.

Kids, Youth and Teens in Christ Registration (Part of DITL Ministry)If you are registering children for the Kids in Christ Children’s Ministry program or the Youth or Teens in Christ offered on Thursday mornings, please be sure to fill out a separate KIC/YIC/TIC registration form for your children. These forms will be available at the Info counter. The Education Enrichment ministry will register on a first come first serve basis. Registration will be closed for Youth and Teens in Christ when the classrooms meet capacity. Please register early to reserve spot in these classes.

Financial AssistanceIf you require financial assistance in order to attend a Bible study, please complete a scholarship request form located on the info counter. This request will remain confidential and reviewed by an elder.
