Work Experience Sep 11 - Present Full-Time Associate Mason, Ohio PetSmart 38 Hrs/Week As a Full-Time Associate, I'm expected to fill positions as needed. My main task is being a Senior Cashier in which I fulfill basic cashier duties as well as being entrusted with administrative capabilities. These include: making change for customers, opening and closing the registers, and fixing register malfunctions. As a senior cashier, I'm held to the standards of a manager. I'm more knowledgeable about the store and about our customers' needs than the average employee. I am one of the only employees in the store that can fill almost any position needed. I work in the hotel, bath dogs, and can run the petcare department. I’m expected to be an expert on everthing from diet and nutrition, to an expert on proper care for hedgehogs.
