The world is experiencing a dramatic increase in population, This is causing problems not

only for poor, undeveloped countries, but also for industrialized and developing nations.

Describe some of the problems that overpopulation causes, and suggest at least one possible

    solution.

You should write at least 250 words.

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

In most countries of the world the population is increasing alarmingly. This is especially true in

poor, undeveloped countries. Overpopulation causes a considerable number of problems.

In poor countries it is difficult to provide enough food to feed even the present number of people. In addition, education to limit the number of children per family is not always successful. Poorer

countries usually have a lot of unemployment too, and an increase in population simply makesthe situation worse. The environment also suffers when there are too many people living on the

    land.

In rich, industrialised and developing countries it is very difficult forgovernments to provideeffective public services in overcrowded cities. Moreover, there is usually a great deal more

crime, which is often due to high rates of unemployment. Further large increases in populationonly cause more overcrowding, unemployment and crime.

There are two main solutions to the overpopulation problem. Firstly, every woman who is

pregnant, but who does not want to give birth, should be allowed by law to have an abortion.Secondly, governments must educate people to limit the size of the family. In China, couples are

penalised financially if they have more than one child. This may seem cruel, but the "one-childpolicy" is beginning to have an effect in the world's most populous nation. Eventually, similar

policies might also be necessary in othercrowded nations such as India, for example.

To sum up, if the population explosion continues, many more people will die of starvation inpoor countries, and life in the cities, even in affluent nations, will become increasingly difficult.

Nowadays, the population increase dramatically in most countries around the world. This is true

for developed and developing nations. Overpopulation cause different number of problems. However, government can solved these problems by manysolution.

There are several problems that raising number of people in undeveloped countries causes.Firstly, it is very difficult to provide enough food for all people. Secondly, the government limit

the number of children per family to educate in the school. In addition, in poorest countriesusually have a lot of unemployment as well, and when the population increase the number

of unemployment increase. Finally, when too many people live on the land, the environment

    suffers.

There are different problems that overpopulation causes in rich nations. Firstly, it is very difficult

for governments to provide helpful public services in overcrowded cities. Moreover, there is

generally a great deal more crime such as using drugs, killing people, steeling, and ect. Whichthat often because of high rates of unemployment.

However, overpopulation problems in both nations have two mainsolution which it deal bygovernments. Firstly, government must educate people to limit size of the family. For example,

in China they have a policy call one cild policy which it is limit size of the family to have oneor two children but that it is beginning to have an effect in the worlds most crowded nation.

To sum up, if the population impulsive increase continues, many more people will die of hungerin poor countries. Also, in rich nations, the life in the cities will become more and more difficult.

This essay covers the task and has a good content. However there are several areas to improve.Grammar needs more attention (see comments underlined in blue). First paragraph, last

sentence repetition of solve and solution, better say can find many solutions to those

problems. Third paragraph, last sentence poor structure, looks unfinished. Overall, looks

    like a Band 6 6.5 essay.

The world is experiencing a dramatic increase in population. This is causing a considerable

number of problems not only for poor countries such as: food- lacking, education, unemployment but also for industrialized nations such as: services, pollution and unemployment, too. Therefore, the government of nations in the world is trying to solve this global problem.

Firstly, consequences that the uncontrolled population cause in poor countries are: food- lacking,

education, unemployment. In fact, it is difficult for governments to provide enough food for all.In addition, the education for children cant be ensured. Food- lacking and weak education will

lead to unqualified workers generation, and consequently this cause the unemployment in mostof big cities.

And secondly, there are different problems that the population explosion cause in rich nations,

such as: services, pollution and unemployment. Nowadays, effective public services are essentialrequirements in developed cities. So when population increase, it is difficult for government to

do that well. In addition, the pollution in big cities cant be avoided. Furthermore, the growth ofpopultion lead to unemploment, causing series of social evils.

In my opinion, there are many ways for gorvernment of nations to solve this problem. But

educating public awareness of overpopulation problems is the most important way. For example, the government should show consequences that overpopulation cause and have strong policies to

control population, such as two child policy in Vietnam. Beside that, sex education course forteenagers in school is necessary. This will decrease partly unwanted pregnant in teenager. In

addition, in Catholic countries, there are some laws to prevent child-bearing. [ My teacher toldme that :D]

In conclusion, it is widely acknowledged that over population cause concerns about enviroment, living standard, social stability in both poor and rich coutries. Thus, all nations should gather andlook for the best way to solve this global warning.
