Common issues people have with writing Cause-and-effect essays:

oMake sure that one even actually did cause another event. Just because an event happens before another does not mean that it caused it! oMake sure you consider all possible causes and effects, not just the most obvious

Other things to consider:oDon't try to make something seem more important than it is just to strengthen your case. We can tell.oWhen you arrange your effects (or causes), make sure it is in a logical order! For example, arrange it from least important to most important.
