Canine cough is a contagious disease that spreads through shared water bowls, so- cialisation with other dogs or via airborne transmission. Canine cough is caused by bacte- rial or viral infection with a hacking cough as the main characteristic symptom. Some dogs can also show fever, lethargy, vomiting froth and a reduced appetite. Treatment is often very effective although the disease may take some time to completely resolve. Fortunately, it is easy to protect dogs against the more serious forms of the condition and reduce the severity of the Canine cough through an annual vaccination. We highly recommend yearly vaccination against Canine cough. If you are unsure if your dog is up to date with vaccinations, please contact the clinic on 9528 2525. APPOINTMENTS FOR GROOMING With the warmer weather upon us, many pet owners are increasing the frequency of groom- ing and washing. We groom and wash pets every weekday and appointments are filling up quickly. If you would like us to care for your pets coat, please call and book early to ensure it is done on your preferred date.
