• Two types of generic user interfaces - Operational User Interface and the General Public Interface User interface
• Core Applications guide the users in the main usage situations - Planning, Simulation, Response and Debriefing Core
• DSS can be parameterised with templates for entities, procedures, algorithms, scenarios and plans in the CATO Knowledge Base Knowledge Base
• Algorithms tailored to the requirements of specific users and evolve over time

Learning about CBRN attacks: the CATO Laboratory
The CATO Lab is both an example of a prototype implementation of a DSS using the CATO Toolbox and a tool for user dialogue Physical CATO Lab CATO equipped facility to support discussions between
