some of your experiences. If you are visiting Billeri-
ca as part of your summer travels we welcome you

Almighty God, your son Jesus told us to pray for vocations since the harvest is great and the labor-ers are few. Help all of us who center our Catho-lic lives in word and sacrament to be active pro-moters of vocations to the priesthood and reli-gious life. May we all accept this mission from Je-sus with the determination that comes from faith. We pray this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Jesus’ teaching about the Bread of Life continues in today’s gospel. It is a
teaching we need to hear over and over. “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks
my blood has eternal life.” Jesus is inviting us to receive his body and blood
at Mass in Holy Communion. Savor Jesus’ words as you receive Commun-
ion today. Is there someone you know who isn’t here this week? Pray for
strength to invite that person to come to Mass and Holy Communion next week.
