MAKING PROGRESS TO A NEW ERA OF FAITH! Last weekend we experienced a renewal as our church was opened to our parish family for the celebration of Mass. I could not be more proud than I was to see the people again and follow the various new procedures to maintain ‘social distancing’.
There were 60 people who attended the Saturday Vigil 5pm and on Sunday at 8am - 39, 10am - 32, 93 a the 12:30pm and 57 at
the 5pm. 82 came for Communion on Sunday from 4 - 4:30pm. With the help of God we will embrace new blessings and graces
as we remain ready and hopeful to receive what God has in store for us! - Father Alex, Pastor

SECOND COLLECTION. St. Bede Parish will take up a Second Collection next weekend, May
30 & 31, for the Catholic Communications Campaign. This collection communicates the Gospel and enriches our faith through Catholic
social media activities. Half of all proceeds remain in our archdiocese and support local
needs, so please be generous in this collection.
SEGUNDA COLECTA. El próximo fin de semana, nuestra parroquia realizará la Colecta para la Campaña Católica de la Comunicación. Esta colecta comunica el Evangelio a través de actividades en la television, la radio, los medios sociales, los podcasts y la prensa excrita. will be ordained to the Priesthood and Mr. Alexander M. Crow to the Diaconate on
Saturday, May 30 at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile.
Deacons Peyton (2015) & Gabe (2019) were at St. Bede Parish while Deacon Connor (2015) was at Holy Spirit Parish as visiting Seminarians
for the Summer.

1. Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must
make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized.
3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation).
4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married.
5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come.
6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.
7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass.
1. Los padres deben estar casados por la Iglesia catolica. 2. Si la pareja está casada civilmente o no están casados,
ellos deben hacer una cita para reunirse con el Pastor antes de bautizar a su hijo(s).
3. Niños de 6 años o menores van a recibir el scramento de Bautismo. Niños de 7 años o mayores, recibirán los 3 sacramentos de Iniciación (Bautismo, Primera Comunión, y Confirmación).

Middle School and High School Math Teacher to start in academic year 2020-2021. These positions
may entail teaching math subjects including pre-calculus and calculus at the high school level and pre-algebra and algebra at the middle school level. Applicants should be able to instruct in most HS and MS math areas. Previous teaching experience in HS and MS math is desired, as is
a teaching certificate.
Administrative Assistant - High School Campus
Full-time. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, possess excellent oral and written communication
skills, and be able to handle several concurrent tasks and projects. The High School Campus administrative assistant serves as the first point of contact for the school, both in-
person and on the phone, and should be pleasant, welcoming, and willing to meet the needs of the families and communities we serve. Efficient time-management,
organization, and problem-solving skills are a must. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to reception and
clerical duties, scheduling, supply ordering, and event logistics. Candidates should be fluent with productivity
software, such as Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite.
