Whether you are looking for a venue for your ceremony or your wedding breakfast and evening reception, Cathedral Quarter is the ideal choice.

Your ceremony can be held in either of our two licensed rooms. Opulence is a beautifully bright and airy room full of original features setting up to 100 guests. For intimate ceremonies, Galleries can hold up to 25 guests. Please remember you will need to contact the registrar directly to book your date and time.

From the honey warmth of the wood panelled walls, the intricate detail of the corniced ceiling to the unique feature windows, you couldn’t ask for a more impressive room than Opulence for your wedding breakfast.

Blend this with striking Italian glass chandeliers and the bold patterned wallpaper to create a stunning backdrop to your big day. We can hold up to 100 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 150 for your evening celebration in Opulence or 20 guests can enjoy a wedding breakfast in Galleries. Our grand reception hall offers the perfect space to hold your drinks reception. Derby’s most majestic staircase with original stained glass windows takes centre stage and overlooks regal Scaglioli pillars and ornate mosaic floor, making the perfect background for your photographs.
