Meet our executive chef
Martin Levitz
Chef Martin Levitz moved to Jackson five years ago and was struck by the area’s natural beauty as well as its
wide range of local ingredients. Chef has been an innovator in the Jackson culinary scene ever since. He is
quoted as saying, “I make it my mission to have our guests experience every culinary gift Jackson has to offer.”
Chef Levitz prides himself in his ability to develop innovative menus and unique experiences. Coming from a
family that is steeped in culinary tradition, Martin, from a young age, has been hooked on food and wants to
infuse his passion into every bite he creates. From the wild game, to amazing local farms: It’s been his desire
to use his culinary knowledge and instincts to marry these beautiful ingredients together in order to offer you
and your guests an elevated experience. Chef is so happy to share with you a piece of his home and looks
forward to serving you.

Linen:
We stock black and white linens in standard sizes to fit our tables. There is no charge to use our
house stocked linen on any event. However, floor length linen on round tables will cost $8 per
table. We can get select colored linen to fit the event’s theme. Please discuss with the planner
and we will do our best to accommodate. There is a small upcharge of $.25 per table to order in
colored linen outside of the house stocked colors.
Policies & guidelines
Guarantees
For us to properly prepare for your event, please specify a final guest count or
“guarantee” by 12:00pm, 7 business days (excluding weekend and holidays) prior to your
event date. This number is not subject to reduction.
We will prepare 5% over the final guest count. If a guaranteed count is not specified, the
last estimated count will become the guarantee. This guarantee, or the actual number
of guests served, whichever is greater, will be used for billing purposes. If the guaranteed
number increases beyond the 5% overset after the guaranteed cut off time, the guests
over and above the 5% will be charged at 1.25 times the contracted price.
Ask The Chef
It would be my pleasure to customize or create a menu based on the needs of your event, I work
in conjunction with the event staff and we are all about complete satisfaction. If you have any
special request or dietary restrictions, we will tailor your needs to the menu you choose. I am
reachable anytime to go over details that need special attention.
Food & Beverage
An Event Manager will be assigned to work specifically with you to assist with selecting
menus for your event. Our team will happily customize menus to fit any dietary
preference, theme or special restrictions, upon request.
Due to current health regulations and for the safety of your guests, no outside food or
beverages may be permitted into the resort, nor taken from the event location by the
host or any of the attendees. Anything that is not normally stocked by the hotel may have
extra charges associated.
When 2 or more entrée selections are chosen for a plated function, the highest entrée
price will apply for all entrees. Vegetarian/vegan options are available, with notice. If
vegetarian/vegan entrees are not ordered in advance but are served at the event, they
will be charged at the prevailing entrée price.
Liquor Policy
The sale and service of alcoholic beverages are regulated by the state of Wyoming. As
a licensee, Snow King Resort is accountable for the administration of these regulations.
Therefore, as the sole licensed purveyor for the property, all liquor must be purchased
from Snow King Resort. The resort reserves the right to discontinue all service in the event
of blatant or willful disregard for the law on the part of the event sponsor or guests in
attendance. Snow King Resort also reserves the right to end alcohol service during any
event where guests appear overly intoxicated or at its sole discretion.
Event Details
Snow King Resort offers in-house coordination of many resources you may require; from
audio visual needs to transportation, we are here to help you find perfection in every
detail related to your event space and catering. Please note that all outside services
contracted by Snow King Resort on behalf of our clients is subject to a 20% surcharge as
well as current service charge and tax.
Deposits & Billing
The resort can hold space tentatively for 10 days until the required deposit of 25% of the
estimated site fees, food, and beverage charges has been received with the signed
contract. Balance of the estimated charges must be paid 30 days prior to your event
date unless outlined differently in the contract. All deposits are non-refundable and non-
transferrable. If the event is cancelled up to 29 days prior to the event date, 100% of the
estimated charges will apply.
All events held on the following observed holidays are subject to additional labor fees:
New Year’s Day/Eve, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving
Day, and Christmas Day/Eve.
Additional Labor
An additional labor charge will be added for the following services, if required:
• Chef Attendants: $150 per chef, per hour
• Additional Servers: $25 per server, per hour
• Bartender: $25 per hour, per bartender, per event (can be waived if Beverage minimum of $400 is exceeded)
• Coat Check: $35 per attendant, per hour
• Menu Cards: $3 per menu
• Corkage: $25 per 750ml bottle
• Place Cards: $3 per card
• Cake Cutting: $3.5 per guest
Welcome Gifts
Our team can assist with suggestions for welcome gifts or even take care of the creation
for you. Please inquire with your Event Manager for additional information and fees.
Delivery of welcome gifts to hotel guest rooms will incur a $5 per gift delivery fee and a
$10 per unit delivery fee to condos.
Local Taxes & Service Charges
All food and beverage will be subject to a 22% service charge and 6% state sales tax.
The service charge is also taxable at the 6% sales tax rate. Taxes are subject to change.
Outside Contractors
The resort requests that all outside services, companies, firms, agencies, or groups hired
outside our preferred vendor list be approved by your Event Manager. Additional fees
may apply as well as an insurance certificate insuring Snow King Resort the day of the
event, a copy of a current business license, or other requirements as deemed necessary
by Snow King Resort.

10:30pm. Functions in the hotel must conclude by 11:00pm. Events at Grand View Lodge
may continue until 1:00am, so long as all the attached Grand View Lodge units are
reserved by event guests.
Signs, Displays, & Decorations
All signs, displays, and decorations are subject to the approval of Snow King Resort and
the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. All signs must be printed in a professional manner. Snow King
Resort will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, or ceiling with nails,
staples, adhesives, or any other substance without specific permission and supervision
from the Event Manager. All décor associated with your evet must be discussed with and
approved by your Event Manager.
All decorations, centerpieces, etc. must be removed at the close of the function. No
glitter, confetti, bird seed, rice, helium balloons, hay bales, or firecrackers are allowed on
the resort property. Fresh flower petals and bubbles are allowed outside.
Any cost to repair or clean resort property as a result of self-installation will be added to
the final bill. All banners must be hung by Snow King Resort at a charge of $35 per banner.
Any décor provided by an outside contractor is subject to approval by Snow King Resort.
Function Rooms
For functions scheduled outdoors, Snow King Resort will make the final decision on
whether to relocate your event to an indoor location based on weather forecast and
conditions 3 hours prior to the start time.
If a change from the original room set-up is requested on the day of the function, a
minimum labor charge of $250++ will be assessed and added to the final bill. Guests will
be admitted to the function room and expected to depart at the times stated on any
Banquet Event Order.
In the event of a significant increase or decrease in the number of guests, Snow King
Resort reserves the right to move an event to a different function room other than those
appearing on the Banquet Event Orders.
Boxes & Packages
Packages and boxes may be delivered to the resort up to 3 days prior to your function
date with prior notification and must be coordinated with your Event Manager. Please
include with all materials the name of your event, as well as your specified Catering
Manager. The resort is not responsible for any damage or loss of such merchandise or
articles.

• $5 + taxes per box under 20 pounds, per movement
• $15 + taxes per box over 20 pounds, per movement
• Oversized items will be charged accordingly
• COD packages will not be accepted
