reports that 2,189,500 calls to U.S. fi re departments in 2003 were nui-

sance alarms. Safeguard your customers from fi nes related to nuisance

alarms with the loop test/maintenance module (2W-MOD2). The

2W-MOD2 sends a signal to the control panel when any 2-wire i3 de-

tector on the loop requires cleaning. This will allow you to schedule a

service call to clean the detector before it false alarms.

Also, use interconnected sounders with the relay/synchroniza-

tion module (RRS-MOD) to activate all sounders on your loop when

one detector goes into alarm. And, to ensure that your system follows

the temporal-three code requirements, the

RRS-MOD will automatically synchronize your

sounders.
