Design , Construcon & Features

75 Series is two piece construcon. All valves have a top

mounng ange conforming to ISO 5211 for mounng of

actuators, fugive emission bonnets or extended handles.

Seats

Flexible seat design provides ght shuto at high and low

pressures, reduce wear and valve torque. A wide range of

seat materials are available. Standard seat materials are

Virgin PTFE, glass lled PTFE or carbon lled PTFE. For other

seat materials.

Stem

The valve stem assemblies have blowout proof stems with

live loaded spring washers to compensate for pressure and

temperature surges and wear.

Ball

A high polished solid ball with a pressure relief hole in the

stem slot to equalize the pressure in the body cavity en-

sures ght shuto and long service life.

Anstac Features to the valve

As an opon the valve stem can be provided with a built in

anstac which ensure connuous contact of stem-to-ball

and stem-to-body.

Secondary sealing All re safe valves are ed with

exible graphite body seals and graphite stem seals. The

valves contain so seat rings. In the event of re, a

secondary metalic machined ring comes in contact with the

ball and prevents leakage through the valve port. The stemincorporates a machined ring shaped surface which will

prevent leakage, once the thrust seal has been burnt o.

Finish Carbon Steel valves are black oxide treated or

phosphate and oil dipped. Stainless Steel valves are elec-

tro polished or passivated.

Fire Safe Valve Fire Safe valves are designed and tested to

the requirements of API 607 5th Edion. Valves for free safe

applicaon are idened by the prex AF.
