ABOUT BOREL

Founded in 1927, Borel Swiss is the leading manufacturer of electric furnaces, kilns and ovens for the metal, heat pro-cessing, heat treating, metal melting, ceramics, glass, porcelain, pottery markets.

Borel propose a whole range of standard furnaces, accessories & spare parts. If you need a furnace specially tailor-made to your needs, Borel will be pleased to help you. For example, we regularly make modifications at our customers’ request for making a hole in a door or behind the furnace, changing the regulator or adding recorders, updating the security performances, injecting a protective or reaction gas inside the furnace, mounting an automatic door, adapting a load support, connecting the furnace to a supervision system or ERP system, making a ceramic or refractory steel muffle customized. Our experience showed us that it’s much more economic to modify an existing standard furnace rather than building a special furnace.

All the Borel furnaces are made in Switzerland or in Europe by our subcontractors with whom we have a partnership. All the Borel furnaces are subjected to a quality control and functioning tests in our workshops in Switzerland before shipment. All the Borel furnaces are EC certified and some of them can be subjected to special certifications, type AMS, on request. Borel Swiss is certified ISO 9001 -2008 by SGS Switzerland and proposes on request guarantee extensions conditions until 5 years for all of its products.

Borel export our products all over the world directly from Switzerland and can therefore guarantee you a better price without intermediaries. Our products are guaranteed 1 year and repaired in our workshops. If the repair transport cost is too high, we send you directly the spare parts.

A PROPOS DE BOREL

Fondé en 1927, Borel Swiss SA est un constructeur de fours électriques, fours industriels, Etuves pour le traitement thermique du métal, la fusion des métaux non ferreux, la céramique, le verre et la poterie.

Borel propose un large gamme de produits standards, d’équipements annexes et de pièces détachées pour fours et etuves. Si vous cherchez un four spécial, Borel peut vous proposer une construction sur mesure. Par exemple nous réalisons régulièrement des modifications à la demande de nos clients pour faire un trou dans une porte ou à l’arrière du four, changer le régulateur ou ajouter des enregistreurs, mise aux normes spéciales, injecter un gaz de protection ou de réaction à l’intérieur du four, monter une porte automatique, adapter un support de charge, la connexion du four à un système de supervision ou à un ERP, fabriquer un moufle en céramique ou en acier réfractaire sur mesure. Notre expérience nous a montré qu’il est beaucoup plus économique de modifier un four standard existant plutôt que de construire un four spécial.

Tous les fours Borel sont fabriqués en Suisse ou en Europe chez nos sous traitants partenaires. Tous les fours Borel font l’objet d’un contrôle qualité et de tests de fonctionnement dans nos ateliers en Suisse avant expédition. Tous les Fours Borel sont certifiés CE et peuvent faire l’objet sur certains modèles de certifications spéciales de type AMS sur demande. Borel Swiss est certifié ISO 9001 – 2008 par la SGS SUISSE et propose sur demande à des conditions très avantageuses des extensions de garantie jusqu’à 5 ans pour tous ses produits.

Nous exportons nos produits dans le monde entier directement depuis la Suisse et nous pouvons ainsi vous garantir un meilleur prix sans intermédiaires. Nos produits sont garantis 1 an pour une réparation dans nos ateliers. Si le coût du transport est trop important pour une réparation, nous vous envoyons directement les pièces détachées à remplacer.

Definition: A ladle is a mobile muffle in refractory steel provi-ded with an inert gas inlet. The muffle is designed to be placed in a chamber furnace with the parts themselves arranged in the muffle. AXRON TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS ECO 300

Definition: The controller is used to set the desired furnace (or oven) temperature. The furnace heats up to this temperature then heats intermittently to maintain it. With a programmable controller, the desired temperature can be associated with the time desired to reach it. Each of the temperature/time pairs is called a segment. A set of segments forms a program, and some regulators allow several programs to be memorised. The-re are principally 2 types of segment. Ramp: the furnace tem-perature rises or falls to the desired temperature as a function of the desired time, following a linear progression and heating intermittently. The other is the dwell type: the furnace main-tains a steady temperature by heating intermittently.Example: Rise to 400°C in 3h, maintain 400°C for 6 hours, rise to 900°C in 4h, maintain 900°C for 2 hours, maintain 1100°C (the rise is not timeconstrained, it will be achieved as best) fall in 15h, 1 programme, 6 segments.Display: Dual display, measured temperature in red, target temperature in green.Electricity: Screw terminal block Ø 0.5 to 1.5mm.Memory: Memorisation of set temperatures and programmes when furnace is shut down.Mounting: The regulator can be removed from its housing from the front without dismantlement or tools.Documentation: Instructions in English.

LADLES

Definition: A ladle is a mobile muffle in refractory steel provi-ded with an inert gas inlet. The muffle is designed to be placed in a chamber furnace with the parts themselves arranged in the muffle. It is then possible to work under protective gas.Construction: The muffle is parallelepiped-shaped (with one hinged face closing by gravity), with a gas inlet (which also serves as a handle) and a mobile floor grid system on which the parts are placed. The mobile floor makes it easy to transfer the parts from the muffle to the quenching tank. Heating: The maximum temperature withstood by the muffles is 1100°C. Our muffles are available with our chamber furnaces for 1100°C, or 1200°C for more intensive use.Type of gas: Working with non-flammable gas (nitrogen, for-ming gas 92-8 etc.).Pneumatics: Our muffles are fitted with a valve to regulate the air supply. Type M16 connector.

- You handle the project directly with your potential customer- You buy the product at Borel’s and you charge directly your customer- Borel guarantees the product during the contractual duration

A dynamic programme of discount

- You get directly a discount of 15 % on the general price list, from the first order and without turnover commitment.

- You get an additional annual discount of 5 % if your turnover is higher than 30,000 Euros.

- You set yourself your sales prices to the final customer by adding other equipments or services.

A commercial & technical support - You receive free of charge the commercial literature you need (colour catalogues, products sheets, pictures) in paper or digital format (PDF).

- The Borel technical team is at your disposal for any technical questions about the products.

- Borel guarantees its products for one year for a repair in its workshops. Borel also offers a guarantee extension up to 5 years according to the products.

- Borel can propose to you, under preferential conditions, a support in putting into operation at your final customer’s for the complex furnaces under gas.

- Borel can organize, at your request, the transport and the customs formalities with a direct delivery at the customer’s if you wish.
