The ski-walk lever allows the rider to lock

the boot into ski mode or unlock the boot to

initiate walk mode, the walk mode allows the

boot to fl ex up to 20° forward, and 18° back

to assist the natural motion of walking.

The boot is composed of 3 pieces, the shell,

cuff, and tongue. The parts work together

to allow the foot to be wrapped in a precise

manner to provide a responsive fi t while

skiing. A fully reclining tongue allows easy

entry and increases the forward fl ex of the

leg while skiing. The interaction between the

separate boot parts also provides support

and lateral stability of the foot, thanks to

the rigidity of the polymers used for the

construction of the shell.
