Our STEEL TOWER cage is available in the following models:

- Laying cages: ST52-76, ST61-76 STT61-76 (tropical height), STE61-76 (enriched for Europeanmarket) and STE71-76.

- Rearing cages: STR52-76 ad STR61-76.

- Quail cage: STQ-61

- Broiler cage: STB71 (available with wire mesh or plastic bottom with automatic system forcollection. It can include either PAN FEEDERS inside or FEED TROUGHTS outside the cages -easier to clean- with automatic TRAVELLING TROLLEY HOPPERS).

The main features of our LAYING CAGE are:

GALVANIZED: Galvanization process with our exclusive system of immersion and ultrarapid welding (0,010seconds). All components of the structure are totally galvanized, providing a long lasting protection against corrosionin most adverse environments (places near the sea with great saltpeter level in the air, for example) and avoidingdamage during manipulation, storage, transport and installation processes. STEEL INOX. (optional)

STRUCTURE: THE ONLY ONE THAT OFFERS A LEG EVERY ONE BOX = GREATER RIGIDITYA stronger structure with galvanized sectionsmade of a single piece without welding contactpoints and with one leg every 76,2 cm / 30"allowing to stack batteries of up to eight tierswith total guarantee of durability.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE POST:This is an essential feature of the batterybecause the height of the leg can be individuallyregulated to achieve an exact levelling andalignment.

LIGHT CONDITIONS AND VENTILATION:The STEEL TOWER is an open cage, whichallows maximum access to air and light. Thepartitions are made of 3mm wire, ensuring thebest ventilation and light for the birds andallowing them to better find water dispenser.Improved light conditions also facilitate flocksurveillance.

SLIDING DOOR:The sliding grates allow a comfortablemanipulation of the birds. All the wires are sethorizontally to allow a greater number of birdsto feed at the same time.

0.8 mm TROUGHS:Fully galvanized. Each trough is 0.8 mm thick and it has a support every 76,2 cm /30" to allow the operator to step and use it as aladder to work on the upper tiers with no risk(INSPECTION CART AVAILABLE).

An inner rim avoids loss of feed, and the reducedwidth of the bottom (3 cm / 1,18") helps the birdsto eat in a fixed space preventing them fromselecting the grain.

CAGE BOTTOM:

It is made of 2,2mm wire and designedwith a slope to allow for a smoothsliding of the egg, avoiding the risk ofbreakage or cracking. To achieve thenecessary tension of the cage bottomthere are tensing wires from end toend. The comfort of the birds isguaranteed. The floor is undulated inthe middle of the row to allow for easyinstalling of the pipes required formanure drying systems.

SPACIOUS CAGES: BETTER LAYING PERFORMANCEOur cages reduce mortality and increase laying performance by forcing the birds to go back and forth from thefeeding trough to the drinking line. Increasing physical exercise enhances productivity and hardens eggs-hells.

LESS ASSEMBLY TIMEThe new STEEL TOWER provides a more solid structure and reduces the time required for assembly. The assemblyprocess is quicker, simpler and it is supervised by an ARUAS engineer from the reception of the material tothe completion of the project.

This is the traditional cage system that allows for a custom tailored product. Its main characteristics are:

- The egg collector, the feed distribution cart, the nipples and the egg protection system are optional because they canbe operated manually or can be automated according to the needs of the operator.

- In this system, birds manure falls freely, remaining at the bottom till the end of the cycle.

- It is normally used in raised facilities.

- Cage structure makes bird-checking easier.

- Air circulation and light conditions are excellent.

TWO OPTIONS OF FEED SUPPLY

RECENTIMPROVEMENTS:Our R+D department has recently undertaken significant changes both in the feeding hopper rails (longer andstronger rail pieces with less junctions that improve the whole cage structure) and in the feeding hopper engine itself(new powerful engine and stronger metal gears).

CHAIN FEEDING SYSTEMAs an alternative to the cart distribution system ARUAS offers the chain feeding system

This system requires a motor per tier that can be operated at several speeds. The 90-degrees corners are speciallydesigned to facilitate maintenance work.

FEEDING HOPPERThe many advantages of this system have made it our customer's favourite.

UNIFORM FEED DISTRIBUTIONEach tier has an individual hopper which ensures a uniform feed distribution (preventing the birds from selecting thegrain). This contributes to the balanced development of the lot and consequently to an optimum laying performance.

LARGE FEED CARRYING CAPACITYThe feeding hoppers trolleys can carry enough feed to supply houses up to 150 m / 45,72'.

TSH BLOWER:The feeding trolley is fitted with the exclusive BLOWER SYSTEM (TSH) with one fan per each tier, removing dust onthe egg collecting bands and on the wire of adjacent cages, ensuring clean eggs for collection. The system alsocontributes to the drying of manure.

WEIGHT BALANCE:Four driving wheels made of high resistant material achieve a uniform weight distribution of the feeding trolley whenmoving along the cage structure.

EASY TO OPERATE:A general control panel with a timer allows trolleys to operateautomatically. An additional control panel on each trolley makesalso possible to operate them individually from any point they arepositioned.

LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTIONThe 1 hp. individual motor that powers the feeding trolleys makesthis distribution system the most economic.

AUGERS & SILOS

SILOS

- Manufactured from galvanized, corrugated sheetmetal.

- Ladder with protective rail included.- Automatic top loading trapdoor operation- All funnels are fitted at 70-degree angles to ensure

gravity fall of the feed.

ARUAS offers the following models:- 4 - legs silos with 12, 15 and 18 tons capacity.- 6 - legs silos with 18 y 24 tons capacity.

Platforms for the electronic weighing cells (optional).

AUGERS

Our augers transport the feed from the silo to the hoppers inside the poultry house preserving feed quality. Eachauger is 90 mm in diameter (optional 150 mm).

The augers are PVC pipes with a high resistance spring. One end attaches at the bottom opening of the silo toreceive the feed which is then transported inside the poultry house.

The system does not allow for spillage from the hoppers.

WATER SUPPLY

The water supply system is, along with the feed distribution system, vital to the harmonic and uniform developmentof the bird lot. A safe supply with a steady flow and appropriate access conditions for the birds are determinantfactors for the success of the operation.

- There is an opaque (to prevent algal growth) pressure - regulating water reservoir installed at each level.

- Each tank is connected to a square 23 x 23-mm PVC pipe laid across the entire row.

- Each cage has two stainless steel nipples threaded to the PVC pipe.

- The 2 nipples are well centered in all of our cage models and set far from the lateral partitions so the birdscan drink in greater comfort. Given the exceptional light conditions of our batteries, the placement of the nipplesallows the birds to locate them from day one, eliminating the ratio of mortality associated with systems inwhich the nipples are closed to the lateral partitions.

- All our batteries come with a 1mm polypropylene water gutter fitted under the pipe to prevent water falling on themanure belt while the birds drink.

- Up to 7 different sizes.

- Adjustable speed.

- Eggs arrive from the egg conveyor to the collector whichregulates flow by automatically stopping the egg conveyor. Thenthey move to a vibrant set of rollers which carefully places themonto the three available tracks and from there to the ovoscopewhere the dirty or cracked eggs are removed by hand. The restof the eggs are then placed over the weighting stations that gothrough the 7 scales set at different weights. Once the eggs havebeen graded by weight they are individually placed onto eachpacking table area.

- Stainless steel table of ample dimensions to pack manually thegraded eggs.

- Easy assembly of the whole installation.

- It can be easily adapted to any type of poultry facility.

- The standard size is 63 cm width (24,80") and supports a flow of 36.000 eggs per hour

- The high quality nylon sticks guarantee clean eggs without hairlines cracks and ready to be marked and sold.

- Eggs are transported softly without rotating.

- We can also provide a metal stick conveyor and we offer straight or curved cross egg conveyors.

- The outer sections of the egg conveyor are fitted with a galvanized sheet metal hood.

EGG ROLL-AWAY SLOPEThe bottom of our cages has the optimum slope angle to sustain a smooth fall of the egg. It also prevents it from getting soiled by thehens and avoiding an excessive speed that could crack it.

EGG PROTECTOR PANEL BEHIND THE FEEDING TROUGHGalvanized and robust, this panel prevents hens from pecking and soiling the eggs. It has a slight inclination that also prevents themanure to stick to it, even though the hens can step on it, giving them additional standing room.

EGG PROTECTOR WIRE FITTED UNDER THE FEEDING TROUGHThis wire gives low voltage electrical impulses to prevent hens from pecking the eggs laid on the band.

LONGITUDINAL EGG COLLECTING BANDHighly resistant, this band is made of high tenacity polypropylene. Its 10 cm (3,94") width allows a greater flow of eggs ensuring a smooth transport to the collecting machine = zero breakage. It also has a special treatment for ultra violet rays.

LIFT EGG COLLECTION SYSTEM

This system works optimally for facilities with many rows. It ensures enough flow to fill the cross egg conveyor.

- Collection is carried out individually at each tier.

- A telescopic unit fitted to the egg conveyor allows for adaptation to each tier.

- Access to aisles is facilitated by leaving the egg conveyor on the upper part.

- It has a collecting belt speed regulator set at intervals of 2,5 to 7 meters per minute (8,20' to 22,96').

- It has an electronic revolution counter to let the packing center know when the collection has finished at each tier.

- In facilities with 8 tiers or more two egg conveyors can be installed in the lift in order to adapt to the flow of thegrader or the packer.

- The system is simple, practical, takes little space and the transfers are very simple.

- A 1hp motor powers the lift for the egg conveyor.

RECENT IMPROVEMENTS:We have changed the egg collection lift system gears into new ones made of a stronger material that needs nobearings and avoids breakage.

This is the genuine ARUAS system MULTITIER "SIMULTANEA".

It is an optimal system to collect the whole row at the same time. Connecting all the necessary rows ensures egg flow.

- Collection of each row is carried out individually at a constant speed of 2,5 meters per minute.

- Egg transfer takes only two steps that happen smoothly due to its design.

- For SMALL FARMS the installation can stay DOWN with tables at the front of each row.

- Our company can supply this system either with tables for manual operation or with an elevator to lift the eggconveyor and keep it on top of the rows to facilitate access to the aisles.

- The conveyor arms are well levelled allowing eggs to flow softly to the cross egg conveyor and ensuring a lowbreakage ratio.

- This system requires about 3 more meters in length than the "Lift System".

- The machinery is very simple and requires only a 0,75 hp motor at each row.

It is an optimal system to collect the whole row at the same time in reduced spaces. Connecting the necessaryrows ensures egg flow.

- Collection of each row is carried out individually at a constant speed of 1,3 meters per minute.- The cross egg conveyor is affixed to the upper part facilitating access to the aisles at any time.

- The filtering device placed between the longitudinal bands and the "combs" help to an excellent egg quality.- Total length of this system is only 89 cm more than the "lift system".

- Each machine is powered by a 0,75 hp motor.

Manure is collected on polypropylene belts placed under the cages of each tier andtaken to the end of the house. Then it is unloaded onto a cross conveyor belt and takenoutside by a vertical conveyor to be finally released onto the collection truck or trailer.

The outstanding features of our cleaning system are:

LONGITUDINAL MANURE BELT- 1 mm thick longitudinal polypropilene belts. This material is highly resistant and is not

affected by manure induced corrosion. This belt has successfully passed the mostdemanding tests of ISO 9002 certification. It stands out for its resistance to continued use.Its special treatment protects it from solar radiation.

- Belt rails have been recently improved by increasing their thickness (0.8 mm) and, aswith the feeding hopper rails, by using stronger and longer pieces that reinforce thewhole structure of the battery. Besides, a new stiff pieces that stick the manure beltrails with the cages posts also contribute to make the entire battery a very solid"block".

- The gear rollers have also been improved recently. By increasing their diameter, wehave managed to have a perfect alignment. So, it is impossible the belt to be damagedor torn.

The counterweight placed behind the tension roller also helps alignment and automatically tenses the belt avoiding itto expand or contract and also preventing the remaining belt from being caught between rollers, which could result onsystem breakdown.

Scrapers: The two scrapers, one on the main roller and one behind the counterweight, keep belts clean during thereturn path.Rubber pieces of the pressure roller have been recently changed by new ones made of polyurethane = zero wear. New manure machine framework: the framework has been improved by fixing an iron angle on the base of themachine and by vertically placing a strong piece from the feeding hopper rail to the manure machine. It is anadditional way of reinforce the entire battery structure.Engines per row: From now on, our company supplies the manure machine with greater number of engines for abetter functioning.Chains: New stronger chains with links of almost 2 centimeters. Each machine has a curtain that covers the manureunloading area.

CROSS MANURE BELT

- This belt has a standard 60 cm (24") width and it is made of rubber and polyester material highly resistant to extreme temperatures.

- The outer sections are equipped with galvanized sheet metal hoods.- The machine has an upper cover and lateral doors with locks and it is powered by a 2 hp drive.

MANURE DRYING SYSTEM (OPTIONAL) Air is propelled through a pipe placed next to the manure belt at each tier inside the cages by a turbine. This system reduces the humidity level of the manure up to approximately 45%.

MANURE COMPOSTING SYSTEM (OPTIONAL) The manure is transported by conveyor belts to an especial drying plant and unloaded over another band located at the central and highest part of the plant. The band moves back and forththroughout the drying plant spreading the manure and drying it as it goes. This system avoids theuse of trucks and trailers until the end of the laying cycle.

A cost-effective laying activity is based on an appropriate period of rearing.

START TIERS (FROM DAY 1)

- The wire bottom is designed for greater comfort for the pullets, which can standon the same bottom from day one until they reach the age of four months. Thissystem is labour saving because it does not require the installation of provisionalplastic bottoms.

- Designed to adapt progressively to the pullets growth: the adjustable plate isoperated from the end of the battery and can be regulated to the size of thepullets to prevent them from escape. The drinking nipples can be adjusted to thepullet's height until the end of the rearing cycle. Both systems are very precise.

- The adjustable plate is normally set up at rest, so the pullets can eat over it.There are two 360° stainless steel nipples well centered in each cage and easilyaccessible for the pullets.

AIR HEATER (OPTIONAL)Heating during the first days of life uses hot air. ARUAS can supply 100.000

Kcal./hour flow generators fueled by either gas or diesel combustion. We alsoprovide generators with chimneys to expel gas out of the poultry house.

GROW TIERS (UP TO 16 WEEKS)

- When pullets reach a larger size, half of them are taken out from the start tiers and moved to the grow tiers to doubletheir living space.

- This cages have a water gutter similar to the one fitted in the laying cages.

This system only requires personnel to do the beak severing, vaccinating and halving of cage populationswhen the pullets reach the appropriate age.

This system is appropriate for open facilities that enjoy regular temperaturesall the year long.

Fans are installed inside the facilities. For optimal operation they areinstalled with a slight inclination towards the cages to get a pleasantsensation.

The system works by means of a control panel with timer.

If temperatures are lower at night, we recommend to place curtains thatcan be raised automatically and close the facility to use the natural heatgenerated by chickens.

This is a system designed for closed facilities subject to extreme outertemperatures.

Temperature inside the facility is controlled automatically.

Extractor fans, intended to renovate air, are controlled by a timer.

As the temperature begins to rise the extractors start working insequence. If the temperature continues to rise the cooling pad waterpump is automatically connected.

This system ensures a pleasant temperature inside the facility no matter theouter temperature and humidity levels.
