DESIGN

CREB has its own design plant. Devices are conceived, designed, and manufacturing within the company the company allowing it complete autonomy.

Our research department works on the range of cords, tapes and accessories.

PRODUCTION

At the forefront of our progress, is the advanced manufacturing procedures we utilize, including the use of winding machines or the digital were soldered. This allows a consistent level of produc-tion. Product quality is of course provided by the use of these techologically advanced machines but also the know-how acquired over 60 years. In fact, we manufacture all the components neces-sary to complete energizers. In addition our transformer and electronic modules are impregnated with resin for longevity in the field. Our products are certified NFEN 61011, NFEN 60335-2-76 and the quality is well recognized. To ensure reliability, the device are test in normal use for a minimum of 24 hours and 72 hours before being shipped and are guarranted 3 years.

It’s important to note that the company carefully controls the entire production line in order to satisfy delivery requirements. The process is optimized with very good inventory management.

For an efficient electric fences, posts must be placed as described below.

Tape 40 mm : maximal 2 m

Tape 20 mm : maximal 2,50 m

Tape 12 mm : maximal 3 m

All cords diameters : maximal 5 m

Steel cablets : maximal 3 m

Incoporate insulators

For the distance between the two fiber glass posts, use the same dis-tance described above.

For permanent fences, its necessary to put wooden post every 10 to 15m. Then plastic of fiber glass posts can be placed every 3 to 4m. Wooden posts must be renforced in the corners.

Think to firmly push the post in the ground and check them regularly.

In this catalog, we took zone 2 as a reference.

If you live in another zone than this one, you only just have to divide the Watt value of the recommanded solar panel per the coefficient of the zone indicated in the table. You will get the value meeting with the sunny area.

So, we recommend the 12W solar panel for an EP1300G but you can use a 8W if you live in Corsica for example. (12/1,75 = 6,85).

CHOOSE YOUR SOLAR PANEL The use of solar panel is depending to the sunny area, you must defined your zone as below.

The solar panel must be oriented facing south at 45° to get the best efficiency. Position of the solar panel : - The solar panel must be oriented at 45° facing the sun at 13h00.

By connecting the energizer to the fence line, using the appropriate cable, you dramatically reduce the risk of loss of power.

This cable can be burried or aerial. We recommend to use the ref.CAB HT specifically designed for this application, and especially for devices in permanent fencing solutions.

Connect the cable to the HT terminal of the energizer.

Between the energizer and the fence line, with the HT cable, there may be a distance of up to 1500 m.

The longer this cable connection, the higher the loss of energy will be. It’s important to use a good connecting cable for a long distance connection. We recommend to use the HT cable (CAB HT) with a copper wire to keep leakage to a minimum.

CONNECT YOUR ENERGIZER


Lightning always finds the shortest way to move to the ground. Any electric fence can help it to find the easiest path. All Our mains energizers have 2 lightning protections, on the input and on the fence. In areas more prone to lightning strikes, we recommend improving your lightning protection. In order to limit lighning damade, we suggest you to set up a lightnining protection (PARAL).

This will protect your energizer in about 90% of cases. You will decrease the risk if you disconnect the energizer from the mains and from the fence wire, but in this case the enclosure will not longer be functional.

Connect the GROUND plug to the energizer to the ground plug of the lightning protection.

Connect the fence plug of the energizer to the fence plug of the lightning protection box.

No protection is perfect and 100% reliable but at CREB, we believe we are first class in providing the highest energizer protection and minimising any repair fees.

PROTECTION AGAINST LIGHTNING

To troubleshoot a fence leakage or a short, start by checking your energizer and the ground connection. If there are several fences connected to one energizer, you’ll have to control each of them, you can cut the supply by turn-ing the switch (INTLI). You can disconnect the furthest enclosure from the energizer to the closest enclosure to the energizer.

Starting by the furthest enclosure, when the voltage goes up on your tester this mean that you identified the failure.

For the identified enclosure you must check the entire fence line because each insulators leakage can short the fence to the ground. This will be a long way to find the concern but this procedure should solve the problem. A wireless tester is able to detect the origin of the weakness and can save a lot of hassle and a lot of time. Our I-WTEST can facilitate the troubleshooting with wireless test next to the fence.

*To control the earthing stake, use a 4 lights tester and plant the ground plug of the tester into the ground at about 1.5m far away from the earthing stake and put the other plug of the tes-ter on top of the earthing stake. No light should be ON. If the light are ON follow the above procedure or you can use the bentonite mixture to improve earthing.

Energizers are three years warranty against any manufaturing defects.

No indemnities can be asked like : “refund, price reduction or compensation”.

In case of a warranty claim, provide the device with its warranty sheet, and the invoice, to the shop or contact CREB company.

- TRANSFORMERS with external visual electric shock, or transformaters tripping the circuit breaker, without visual marks. - Power surge (use of stand alone generators). - Damage during the freight. - Functional defects due to an accident or a wrong use.

Any repair out of CREB Repair Department or approved by CREB or usage of none original devices will made this warranty obsolete.
