CustomizersMy name is Vlad (Akella). Georgians,
engaged in manufacturing professional
tatoo-machines which are exclusively
hand-made manufacturing. Most of
machines are produced for certain
masters, tailor-made that enables for
tatoo-master, practically, to take part in
the manufacturing process of machines
and get a result which they need.
Most machines are made of steel,
frames soldered with brass or weld-
ed. All parts are original, except the
screws and springs which are bought
separately. Due to the highest quality
components and configuration the ma-
chines meets the highest international
quality standards.
I really like to work in steam-punk
style and techno. But the same time i
pay homage to classical models such
as Bulldog, Diesel, Walker and others,
so i produce it with great pleasure but
the same time introducing something
from me in design. So, in particular,
was born Diesel version, which called
WALL-E because it is very similar to
the cartoon character with the same
name and the machine really has its
own soul.

Vasil Laskavy
My name is Vasil Laskavy. I am 35 years
old, 18 of them I’ve been doing tattoos. In
the 2000 I opened my own studio in my
small town, and continue to tattoo. Like
most artists I have always had a love and
thirst for professional tattoo machines,
probably because of this I decided to do
it by myself. I began tattooing as many at
a time in our country, with rotary ma-
chines, but when I first tried the induction,
I realized that this love for life) I assem-
bled a collection of machines of different
engineers which is constantly updated. I
produce only induction machines, each of
them has its own soul or something, its
character, as opposed to rotary ... This is
purely my opinion. I like the classic frame
a lot: Bulldog, Jones, Walker, etc., I use
these forms often and their interpretation
in my machines. I build a frame from a sin-
gle piece of metal and welded frames, and
sometimes use non-ferrous metals, but
still prefer steel. To apply a coating i use
chromium-plating or blueing, less staining.
The coils on my machines usually 26-23
mm, wire is 0,5-0,56. For the hammers
and the base for the induction coils I use
low-carbon steel. I always try to achieve
perfect surfaces.
Since I tattooing by myself so I tune the
machine primarily for myself, although
necessarily I consider the wishes and pro-
fessional features of the master to whom I
make machine. I almost always tests them
after setup and before shipment. Usually
my machine operate in the range 5-6 volts.
From laner I achieve from 114 to 125 Hz
in the load, but sometimes more. Shaders
85-110 Hz. I believe that I found in my life
an exact activity that brings joy to me, and
most important, to many masters use my
machines in their work)

Aleksandr“make pain”
MizurovI started making tattoos in 2007 before it I was interested in drawing and graffiti. First I bought Chinese equipment but because of its bad quality I had to delve into it and repair all the time. So it was my first acquaintance with the technical side of the issue.
A few years later I started working with my friend and mentor in a specialized tattoo studio. You devel-op much faster when every day you have the opportunity to observe the more experienced tattoo mas-ter working. Due to the possibility I have gained useful experience as well in tattooing as in building tattoo machines. Also to develop as a tattoo machine builder I have read a lot on forums and communicated with other builders. But in any case, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and I have learned a lot by my own mistakes. When you work by your own tattoo machines, you clearly see how it should work and how it should be set. And you can find the right settings not only for yourself but also for others.
I have worked by rotaries and induction machines. Each of the devices has its advantages and I
cannot advise anyone one or an-other device. As for me, I prefer to
work by induction machines and for now I build only them. I would like
to create rotaries too but finding high-quality materials for them is
very difficult. Perhaps in the future the situation will change. New day
brings new techniques and ideas in tattoo machines building.
If I have time I visit different tattoo festivals and conventions where I
communicate with machine build-ers and tattooers and offer my
equipment. For now I’m glad that I can offer my equipment to great masters from different cities and
countries.
Prices for cars from $ 200, and I think then there are no limits. The price
depends on the quality of materials and the time spent on production.

I’m engaged in tattoo machines producing
and tattooing. Although in the drawing I am
not a profi but from childhood I loved to draw
and analyze everything. House was always
full of hand tools. My father was a mechanic
and had tattoos so apparently I absorb this
stuff. I start tattooing in school, in 5th grade (
it was 1989-90) with the simple needle. A lit-
tle later I began to make my first rotors from
the wind-up razor Tourist. Tape recorders
were rare this time and more over players
and motors was not so easy to get so I used
electric razors, then the motors of the play-
ers. The 1990s have brought into the country
more information from the west and on the
photos of the punk rock groups there was an
alternative to prison stripes. Then service in
the army...of course not without walk of life.
In 2000 I bought my first induction into the
tattoo salon SPIRIT OF DRAGON in Grodno
together with self-made unit that goes to
this days so as machine does.
And to this day I can not part with my walk
of life. Drawing is on the third plane now.
From the childhood i don’t like the same
things as everybody. I like to make and
remake everything by my own style. I’m
trying to search and find interesting solu-
tions and designs in everything. I do not like
routine and i always make something new.
commerce is not the leader of goals. The
machines are built by my own taste. Some-
times I make the machine on someone’s
request. I like brutal style and look. I use all
that comes handy. i don’t stamped spring.
For each machine I cut its own spring
and the firing pin. I braze all frames with
oxygen propane torch, brass or solder with
15% silver content. Now with the advent of
the laser there is the opportunity to make
machines standard. Winter is coming and I
have something to do during it.

Most of the items that I use purchased on
the radio market (for rotors mostly) use the
old stuff
For example, ancient coins, will use on the
rotors, I will try to preserve the natural
herbs that they stayed with the excavation.

And as it often happens - the first attempt
came out lumpy. At the same time we
didn’t stop and continued to mold what we
had in the studio. After a four assembled
machines we have something like a real
tattoo machine. All this we put up for public
display in a social network. At one time I
was subjected to criticism by the renowned
Builder, who said, “Either you treat this
matter seriously or give up this stupid
venture.” Preiesly from this place moment
I set myself the goal to prove that I am not
worse than others.
As time went on, I learned what others
are doing and trying to do something of my
own. My father helped me a lot. All compre-
hended through trial and error. I realized
that I like it and I want to do next. It was
decided to differentiate themselves among
other so father signed all his products as
´Alexxª, and me, like many teenagers, was
nicknamed as ´Jackª so that’s happened

. Our story began in 2011. As time went on,
I delved into the tattoo art reading forums.
At some point, the good people opened my
eyes, telling all my equipment are worth-
less junk. Since my hands are growing
from the right place, it was decided to
revive my Chinese machines. From this our
story begins ...

was making for a long time all sorts of

information together we have tried to

Each should have its own “trick” so we have
it. This is the power supply to discharge
indicators IN-14. The idea came after I saw
the prototype unit on the IN-14 tubes from
guys from tattooartists.ru. It was decided
to try to make the same. The first unit we
made in coloboration with N. Ryseykinym.
The bloc had impressive size and was quite
heavy due to the 3-ampere transformer
in it. Presentation of the block was suc-
cessful. There was a lot of comments and
feedback. Later, the unit has been exposed
along with its unit on The Second Interna-
tional Tattoo convention in Moscow, and a
little later the unit was awarded the prize in
one of the nominations on The 11th Tattoo
Festival in St. Petersburg.
The second unit was produced in collo-
boration with Anton ANTech. Now it was a
switched-mode power supply, in 3-4 times
less in size as well as by weight. The proj-
ect ´DaVinciª is a block which part of the kit

About plans for the future.Well, we do
not stand still and try to improve ourselves
in all directions analyzing the market.

ahead! In the future we plan to cover a wid

Hi! Like many of us I started with a little motor
from a tape recorder, strings and electric
shaver. First induction machine I made in
2006 and to my surprise everyone liked it
immediately))). Dima Chicai said that I should
not stop, so I don’t stop))). I prefer to make
frame from steel, bronze, brass, and com-
bine these materials. Brazed: brass, bronze,
copper, steel. Welded: steel. Wholly: from any
material. Under the order machines I make
according to the customers’ wishes (config-
uration, material, sketch). Decoration part I
make basically manually using grinders and
drilling machine. I prefer non-alloy steel of
one and the same brand for the strikers and
cores (coils). I put small silver ball on the
contact screw for better contact. I use contact
silver, it’s much stronger than the jewelry. In
general, I don’t make just bolts and coins))). I
don’t adhere any style cos my machines very
different from others the way they are.
The most important thing is that machine
will not disturb master with its protruding
corners and heavy weight, and it should
work stable. Basically my machines work in
the range from 3 to 8 volts. Shader speed is
90-95 strokes under load. The rate of liner is
100-120 beats under load.
Clear, “velvet” beat in the presence of worthy
power supply and conductors (pedal,klip-
kord). Unit need to be not less than 2A
and thinner wires are 0.75 mm / 2 for any

Frames for my induction machines are made
of structural steel, and for rotary made
of special duraluminium by wholly, parts
for soldering frames are hand made and
all the vital parts of the cores for coils are
brisk, contact rack, cams, etc. are made
on precision CNC machines. Reels for all
machines I wind by myself personally on
special equipment, solder and then put the
correct capacitor capacitance. All machines
I assemble and tune by myself. About 30% of
the machines are assembled by order with
specific settings for the master.
Machines are ready to work on any skin, any
thicker and liquid paints. There are several
types of machines, they are designed for
different types of work like liner, shader,
shadow (Black & Gray shader) and for differ-
ent configurations of needles.
Each machine is equipped with spare springs
and a box for storage and transportation.
All induction machines are permanent guar-
antee for the original owner!

After the appearance of my first induc-
tion machines of Chinese origin, fairly
undergoing coronary rebuild appeared
my first desire to try to do something like
that. It seems kike just take and make,
what’s the problem? The first impres-
sion of ease of creating a tattoo machine
vanished in a moment when it came to
practice. Thoughts are more fluid and light
than our reality. Simple mechanism of
induction-machine, nothing fancy - coil-
spring-hammer .... everything ... but just in
this simplicity lies the weight of technical
points, on which depends the quality work
of tattoo machines. It took a lot of time,
experimentation, very hard work, spiritual
and material resources before I got the
results sought by the right-tuned machine
for noninvasive pigment infliction in the
skin, in order to restore the skin after the
procedure took place in low time. In each
machine I to put my heart. Good machines
are for good people.
