While doing some design research on the internet, I ran across an Egyptian waterjar whose design I immediately fell in love with. Little did I know the difficulties Iwould encounter in assembly and tooling choices.

This handmade leather table centerpiece is made from saddle leather, it was handdyed using eco friendly dyes, and I also added a water resistant treatment sinceone of the favorite uses is that as a flower vase.

By using the best quality saddle leather that money can buy my customers areprovided with a piece of artwork that could easily last 100 years with just minimalcare and maintenance. No glue was used in joining the edges because this type ofbraid, properly applied, results in a very secure form of fastening.

Whether your choice of display is by using this piece as a flower vase or if youchose to display it as a stand alone piece of art, you will enhance any table androom.
