COMPANY DESCRIPTIONICEC - CATALAN INSTITUTE FOR CULTURAL COMPANIES The Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) is a public institution attached to the Catalan Government’s Ministry of Culture that aims to promote and foster the development of the Catalan cultural industry. ICEC offers support to companies in different sectors: music, performing arts, audiovisual and digital, publishing and visual arts. With headquarters in Barcelona and a network of offices around Europe, its Market Development Department facilitates to Catalan cultural and artistic companies the access to national and international markets. First of all by coordinating and supporting the strategic marketplaces and professional events taking place in Catalonia that focus in the performing arts and music. Secondly, supporting a great diversity of companies such as artists, bands, producers, managers, promoters, bookers, publishers, record labels and festivals in their international activity.
