•Cause has been uncovered and related to Crypkey file

Flash File Search

•Cat ET will try to find a Product ID or Engine Serial Number to display in the search field when Flash File Search is launched.  

•If Cat ET is not connected the search field will be blank.  

•If Cat ET is connected but can't find a Product ID or Engine Serial Number, the search field will remain blank.

Windows Vista Compliant

Windows 2000 will not be tested and supported after the 2008B release

– Comply with CITA dealer software standard to discontinue testing in Windows 2000

– Support only two latest CITA approved OS as a result of a 6 Sigma project

– Communicated to all dealers since November 2007 (Service Software News)

– Microsoft has dropped the mainstream support of Windows 2000 (no new changes & enhancements)
