CASTORS

Marlin supplies a wide range of castors for many different applications including service trolleys, tool carts, hospital equipment and industrial equipment. Each castor has a maximum recommended load rating based on manual operation at 2kph.

Generally, larger diameter wheels roll easier than smaller wheels. Wider treads spread loads for better floor protection than narrow wheels. Harder treads roll easier and handle heavier loads than soft tread wheels which provide quieter operation and a cushioned ride. Soft tread wheels offer better floor protection although they are less suited for carpeted areas.
