Castell Roc Festival’s sensational summer shows. Castell Roc is an annual incredibly well received Festival held inside Chepstow’s beautiful Castle. The Festival has been nationally praised for its “relaxed and intimate atmosphere”, attracting Artistes and Touring shows that are usually reserved for much larger City Centre Theatres & Venues. From the second guests arrive and see the spectacular entrance they know they are in for an extremely unique evening. As the sun goes down in this amazing historic arena a very special atmosphere awaits. The Festival does not have ‘big screens’ as they are not needed. All shows are very much ‘up close and personal’. Thursday 17th August – “Monsters Of Roc”.Featuring ‘Hells Bells as AC/DC’, The Bon Jovi Experience

& UK Guns N Roses.

‘Monsters of Roc’ is a chance to head back to the head banging days of the 80's and 90's. Ok, it might not be Reading Festival 'back in the day', but with 3 of the very best rock tributes on the bill it will be close, probably as close as it gets.

Friday 18th August – “The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club”.

Yes - The legendary actor, host and broadcaster Craig Charles is also one of UK’s most beloved Funk and Soul DJ’s. From TV’s Red Dwarf to Robot Wars to Coronation Street and the Gadget Show, Craig has now grounded himself as a Funk & Soul icon after 10 years of broadcasting on BBC 6 Music with their prime time Saturday night show.

Saturday 19th August – “The Magic Of Motown”.

Seen by over 1 million people worldwide including a recent Royal Variety Performance, music fans are invited to the biggest party of the year as the unstoppable Magic of Motown show steams into town. Prepare yourself for 40 back-to-back classic Motown hits, glittering costume changes, dazzling dance moves and outstanding musicianship in this explosive concert experience! Not to be missed.

Sunday 20th August – “Collabro”.

Winners of Britains Got Talent 2014. With Number 1 albums, Royal Variety Performances, Gold Disc Awards (alongside Sam Smith etc), World Tours etc. Collabro are the world’s most successful musical theatre group.

Collabro performing at Chepstow Castle will undoubtedly be a very special and intimate experience for fans from near and far. A genuine night to remember.

Wednesday 23rd August – “Islands In The Stream”.

Celebrating the King & Queen of Country and stacked with country music’s greatest hits: Jolene, Ruby, 9 to 5, The Gambler, I Will Always Love You and Lady. Enjoy the awesome vocals and gentle humour of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers legendary live shows. An enduring show that lets you leave your 9 to 5 worries at the door. . . and sail away to another world. . .

Thursday 24th August – “The Counterfeit Stones”.

Why pay a fortune to see ants in a stadium when for a fraction of the price you can get up close and smell the faking brilliance of the Counterfeit Stones. The best Rolling Stones’ “rusical ” on the circuit. Packed with big hits, retro fashion, vintage guitars and a huge dollop of “Spinal Tap” humour. “Come On” all you Honky Tonks and Get Yer Doo Dahs Out!

Friday 25th August – “The Big Fake Gathering”.

An amazing night is in order as the Antarctic Monkeys, The Killerz and the The Oasis Experience all hit the big stage. A night to remember with three of the UK’s finest tributes of the pop rock genre all wrapped up neatly in a Welsh Castle. It’s a Friday as well so time to let your hair down & party!

Saturday 26th August – “The Quireboys, FM & Gun”.

No tributes on this show as three of the UK's most loved rock bands hit the stage in a triple headlining show which will undoubtedly be the highlight of any rock aficionado's calendar. A mighty show awaits featuring chart topping, arena filling UK rock acts. This ‘no fillers’ show has no support bands, just three 3 quality UK rock legends!

Sunday 27th August – “Ben Portsmouth as Elvis”.

Forming part of a 40th Anniversary World Tour, there are many Elvis shows but only one Ben Portsmouth! Crowned as “the Worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute” in the USA, this captivating show is unlike any other, capturing not only the songs but the essence of Elvis. This is not just ‘an Elvis show’, it is 'The Ultimate Elvis show’. Featuring a 10 piece band + support from The Beatles Go On.

Monday 28th Auguust – “New Model Army”.

Formed in 1980 New Model Army were massively influential in ‘post-punk’, ‘folk-rock’, ‘political-rock’, ‘goth’, ‘metal’ and all kinds of musical sub-cultures. New Model Army still have album sales in the millions, have attracted some of the biggest producers on the planet and have built up an almost religious devotion amongst fans. NMA in a Welsh Castle!!!
