HISTORY

1992 – Kazakhstan University was founded

1995 – transformed into the Kazakhstan institute of Economy and Law

2003 – status of “university” was given, with renaming into “The Caspian Public University” 2007 - School of Law “Adilet” was joined.

2013 - “Multidisciplinary University Parasat” was joined (within the optimization of Higher Education Institutions).

2014 - complex of actions for rebranding, with renaming into “Caspian University” was initiated.

2007 - the "European Quality“ premium of the European club of rectors and the Oxford university is awarded .

The system of the balanced indicators (SBI) and evaluation of productivity on KPI is introduced by 2018.3. The business processes on ISO 9001:2008 system are standardized by 2018. 4. The Model of perfection of EFQM (The European Award of quality) is introduced by 2020 .5. The effective model of the system relations with the companies and with alumnus is created.

World-class own unique educational environment, taking into account the international standards of accreditations of appropriate programs1. Share in the market of education:• bachelor degree - to 2% (proportion of students on a distance learning program - 25%);• master degree - to 2%;• corporate programs – to 3%;• consulting and research services – to 3%;2. INTERNAL STRATEGIESSystem development of an infrastructure complex.

1. Information infrastructure of KU 2020:

unified electronic system of the accounting and resource management;

unified electronic system of document flow;

unified electronic base of scientific and educational data.

2. Commissioning of the dormitory on 300 places and hotel by 2015, the dormitory of 3300 sq.m.

3. Commissioning of the new building on 12 thousand sq.m by 2015, the area of educational rooms is from 24000 to 36000 sq.m., the area of sport center is up to 2000 sq.m.

4. Creation of unified publishing and printing complex, and by 2016 the providing all cycle of works on production of educational and scientific literature.

5. Equipment of computers will correspond to number of students, i.e. one computer for each student, besides, the speed of wireless network will correspond to the level of the best standards of Kazakhstan.

International accreditations:Till 2020 the Caspian University intends to receive institutional accreditation of independent Kazakhstan accreditation agency and foreign accreditations for Educational Programs of a bachelor degree, master and doctoral studies.•FIBAA – the international agency on accreditation and examination of quality of the higher education for the specialties "Law", "Economics", "Management" in 2015;•ASIIN (Accreditation Agency of Europe according to programs of Engineering, Germany) - for specialties 050708 "Oil and gas business", "Geology and investigation of mineral resources", "Construction", "Design" in 2016;•AQA (The Austrian agency on ensuring quality in education (The Austrian Agency For Quality Assurance) - for the specialties "Accounting and Audit", "Finance" in 2016 year; •AEER (Association of Engineering Education of Russia) - for the specialties "Life Safety and Environmental Protection", "Construction", "Automation and Management", "Computer Facilities and Software" in 2016; •EHM (The European association of management in health care) – for the specialty "Nursing" in 2017; •EAPAA (European for Public Administration Accreditation, is recognized MoA RK) - for the specialty "Public and Local Administration" in 2017;•Caspian Business School intends to receive global accreditation of AMVA (Association for MBA’s, Great Britain) in 2020;•Caspian Business School intends to receive global accreditation of AACSB (Association on development of university business schools, the USA) by 2024.
