Beef Week Busking People’s Choice Award
Congratulations to our Casino High School buskers
on winning the Beef Week busking People’s Choice
Award. A great achievement for our budding
musicians!
Year 10
Year 10 students have been especially busy this
week being involved in a number of activities
including the Love Bites program, Science and
Engineering Challenge at Southern Cross University,
Future Tracks program and the subject selection
interviews for Year 11 2020. If your student missed
out on or couldn’t attend the interviews on Friday
please call the school to arrange a time to discuss
your child’s subject selections.
Semester 1 Reports
Teachers are busy completing Semester 1 reports for
all students from Year 7 to Year 11. Academic
Assemblies will follow after reports are distributed.
The Years 7, 9 & 11 Academic Assembly will be held
on Tuesday 30th July. The Years 8 and 10 Academic
Assembly will be held on Wednesday 31st July. More
information regarding these assemblies will be
included in future newsletters.
NAIDOC Celebrations
All parents/carers and community members are
invited to attend our NAIDOC celebrations on
Tuesday 2nd July. Please come along and join the
fun as we celebrate this important event.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Cows Create Careers
Casino High School students had the opportunity to participate in the Cows Create Careers Project. This
project involves the students receiving a visit from an industry advocate. This year it was Liz Bolin, the
District Vet, to talk about the dairy industry and also the role that Liz plays in the dairy industry. The stu-
dents were able to look after two heifer calves from the Toohey’s dairy farm for two weeks. The students
will be required to present some information about what they learnt from this experience.

Next Wednesday, 26th June, is our CAPA showcase Night of Music, Art and Drama (NOMAD) which will be held in The Len Walsh Hall at the school.
Performances commence at 6pm.

OFFICE HOURS FOR SCHOOL RECEIPTING
The school office is able to receipt money from students
from 8.30am - 9am, 11.10am - 11.45am Monday to
Friday. Parents/Carers may personally come to the front
office anytime between 8.30am and 1.30pm.
NO MONEY MAY BE RECEIPTED AFTER 1.30PM.
Payments may be received at the office via cash,
cheque, EFTPOS and payments may be made online
through the School Website.
What expenses can be paid online?

Excursions
